The pace of development seems slow. Most of the buildings are old and not a lot of new construction going on. Other newly minted cities like Gulu, Arua , Lira , Mbale etc you see lots more new buildings and plenty of constructions going on .

The construction company that did Lira road should be banned, they scammed us. Lira roads are so substandard compared to Gulu ones- no provision for pedestrians, no drainage and because of lack of drainage the tarmac is already getting washed.
