IPSC South Africa - Level IV Africa Handgun Champs (2024)
Our Continental Championships was held recently at the Frontier Range in Stilfontein, South Africa. This will also be the venue of the XX World Shoot. It was 4 days of shooting and my biggest competition in Classic thus far. Overall I am pleased with the result and I walked away with a wealth of knowledge. Please like, comment and subscribe!

0:42 - What happened to the 180°-rule?
Still in effect. You can see that there were cones placed at the 180º lines at the start. The camera adds a bit of a fish-eye lense to the frame, which could make the angles seem a bit off😉

Howzit man? can you carry that 92x for everyday carry?
Hey man. I'm sure you can, however, I wouldn't recommend it. It's a heavy firearm and competition guns can get very troublesome if dust and grit gets in it for extended periods of time. Rather get something like the Beretta APX. Much better EDC option in my opinion.

Always like how you show the hits on your targets, great shooting. I have a question though, as someone who has not taken part in any comps so I am not sure on the rules, but on your stage 4 round, Do you have to do a reload as part of the stage? Reason for asking is you reloaded after 4 shots only and it was a 12 round stage only, so why the mag reload? I assume you have to do it for all stages? Thank you in advance and keep up the great work.
Thanks for the compliment! Because I now shoot Classic, I am limited to 10 rounds per mag, so I HAVE to execute a reload in most stages.

Hi Andre. Love your vids. Interested in the number of failure to feeds you seem to be having. I have a similar recurring problem with my 92Xperf. Interested in your thoughts
Thanks for the compliment. My issues were failure to extract due to a worn extractor spring. I also heard the the recoil spring has to be replaced +- every 3000 rounds. Once I did that, my issues disappeared.
