wieder mal zufällig auf einem DAB+Sender gehört und sofort gegoogelt oder hier auf YT gesucht und gefunden - was soll ich sagen? Einfach ein toller chilliger Song, der perfekt zu einem Sonntagsausklang passt!
First heard this cut on CKLW in ' 77 .
Such a beautiful song. My friends old man showed us this song after we found the vinyl hiding in a literal pirate chest since the 1970s. The old mans retired now after hard labor on elevators for 50 years and is in less than ideal health and has trouble getting around much these days. This is his favorite album and song, and witnessing him hear it again for the first time in 50+ years was the privilege of a lifetime. I couldn't be more grateful to have been present and am now forever in love with this song. Thank you to the one who posted this, I will be working on a radio show tribute to Lorence Hud this month and will share once complete. Cheers!
RIP I saw you at Cafe In/On The Park, Eglington park, many years ago accompanied by a young lady in a nurse outfit. Broke a string and changed it during the song without missing a beat. A true Canadian entertainer and a classic. Miss you Joe.
HONEYBUS STYLE. I LOVE IT !
Great artist. Too bad none of his work charted in the USA.
Seen them first in the 70's. Seen them many times over the years, Great guys. Always had time to talk. I grew up with their music, still listen to it. RIP Cornelis
This man needs to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I love this JAZZY version!!!
My All Time Favorite Band and one of thee top bands that ever invaded America! Burton, you were better "LIVE" than on the albums! And the women swooned as you crooned, bent over the stage 10 feet from me, sheesh!
This song was never more true than now. God bless America. We revere the Constitution and liberty. From Canada
D. Clarke Five version much better !
ClassX radio got me here, heard it there
Mood Jga Jga opened for KISS on February 8, 1974 - Tache Hall @ University Of Manitoba, Winnipeg. A rather bizarre pairing.
Great tune. I also like A Touch of Magic & You Look Good in Denim.
CRTC. Good version however; blocked the Todd Rundgren original in Trudeau's Kanakistan.
@@dCaddyshk Wasn’t released as a single, by Rundgren.
Omg RIP, RIP……🎉😢 A precious ‘relic’ indeed 😉
The best song ever. My favorite since 1976 when I was a teenager. Thank you Burton.
Hauntingly beautiful yet sad. I know the feeling very well.
1:26 that little part sounded like a guitar note from a Jerry Doucette album.
So many memories....wish he would have had more air play
I'm not sure it matters too much but he is lip-synching what is seen in the video. He is really singing it, but not during this performance.
Beautiful song
AM GOLD!
Boy,, does this bring back sweet memories!
Love this song!!!!
Lionel stereo r-1970"good-bye to butterfies"album 5ive man eletrical band😊😊😊😊😊
Man These guys are great have this boxset in my collection but have not heard this version for a long time and forgot it was on the boxset does anyone else know this version, and correct me if I'm wrong but its sounds like it was live.
I have the album and listen to it often. One of Canada's best
Beautiful song
great tune from Canada’s Ian Thomas ✌️🇨🇦🫶
What are the lyrics, anyone knows
Brilliant band. Top notch.
Burton is my favorite singer of all time! And this is one of the most beautiful songs he ever wrote!
