I love the zebra pickup look. That’s a great guitar. I have a seafoam green and it’s awesome.
Ebony gets darker the more dye it soaks up . Undyed Ebony is lighter with darker streaks.
May 14th at 10:30 AM I am looking at the classic Gibson guitar and I think I like the natural the best.Give me a address
Does your have a neck button? Mine doesn’t. If not, do you know if you can add one. I was thinking the walnut may be more susceptible to crack
Right on! Same here studio walnut over a standard.
The two strap buttons are so you can stand the guitar up and it will rest on the buttons and not the wood.
Hell...that one plays great❤
Great vid. Thank you! If you have time, I would be grateful for a piece of advice: I’m into jazz, and I’m hesitating, do you recommend this Sire T7 over a Fender Telecaster?
Really interesting video ! Thank you for sharing !
I literally bought this same exact guitar! Same finish, case and candy included!!!!! 2011 model.
I got my j45 studio five years ago and its been my main guitar ever since. Never found a guitar id rather have.
Nope…the rosewood studio has a more balanced tone than the walnut because of the walnut’s rigidity especially when new. Now.! When the walnut is un-lacquered and the pores are open that’s when you hear an ethereal sound…!….as in the case of the first generation G-45s (not the later ones with the cut out tops) when that particular G 45 is broken in , it has a superb sound… better than even expensive Taylors, because the breathability of the wood compensates for the rigidity of the walnut. That being said the walnut is more aesthetically appealing than the rosewood but Gibson Studio rosewood blows💨💨💨 away the walnut in tone, both bottom and top end and also balanced tone…!
My man 15 minutes have gone by and I still haven’t heard the guitar lol…ok I take it it was all semantics, you mentioning how others took long lol
How do you... you seem to have no breath? Is the breath normal in Ultra gain?
The pickups are same on the Classic and 60s Standard . Just got a 2019 Classic having missed out on a 2021 Standard a while back so wasn’t missing out on this one . The thing for me about the Classic I got sounds great without pedals or overdrive on the amp which hasn’t always been my experience of Les Pauls .
Just recieved this amp today, and hooked it up to a 1x12 cab i have a Jensen C12Q fitted. Is it loud? Yes, it is loud if you want it to. Is it Gigable? Absolutely, if you play at serious venues you will do yourself a favour and use this amp if you are going for Marshall sound, the soundguy at given venue or gig will also love you since you can crank this baby up without blasting everyone and everything to deaf to achieve the ''it sounds best cranked'' sound. Is it a good rehearsal amp? It depends, if you are all playing without a wedge system or IEM it can work if you are good at playing together and all don't have the ''GOT TO BE LOUD'' mentality, and it will depend on the room and as mentioned by your bandmates. But hey, if you are serious or more then just a ''for fun'' group, then you likely do have somekind of monitor system that allows you all to actually hear what the hell is going on in detail. It is actually a good way to teach everyone to use less aggressive gear, 1 Watt tube will in practice work absolutely well if everyone else can keep their level at an non tinnitus provoking stage.
I watched this video and almost convinced myself I need another guitar lol .Great video.
I love mine😊 my reflecter came off too, not a issue.
Nice review, the HB with the new pickups sounds better to me than the T3. What is the name of these pickups?
JBE Joe Barden pickups
Awesome guitar, a little on the heavy side, but I have been rised on Les Paul, so no big deal. It's one of the best axes in my collection (mine is a '97, I had a '93 years ago which I had to sell, and a Epi Lucille, similar but not up to Gibson quality).
The headstock design sucks.
So does your playing but hey it is what it is.
It’s buzzing all over the place. It needs a good setup
I absolutely love the Classic. My 2023 Classic in Heritage Cherry has the same red back as your Standard
Buenas! Tiene la profundidad de la j 45 Standart? Necesito saberlo porque la he visto a buen precio y me interesaría que fuera un cuerpo completo. Saludos.
No offense, but may I suggest you loosen up your picking hand? You have a very stiff attack with your right hand. And it comes through with your sound. Just a little friendly advice. Very nice guitar. Enjoy!
I just received mine yesterday from Sweetwater. Right out of the box 📦 turned it and went to rehearsal, played fine and stayed in tune. Pickups sound great.
Cheaper, good, but definitely NOT better looking or sounding.
What do you think of bootstrap pickups?
back is drastic
Hi Matthew, thanks for your honest review! 👏🏻 I got the same SG, and I was/am really disappointed with the fretting. I bought mine through the internet two or three years ago and I was thinking it was bad lottery…but so, I understand this issue is the same on a lot of guitars from this model! It doesn’t help…but let’s say I feel less alone! 😄 I’ve let this guitar in its case for some semesters due to this (I bought a PRS S2 since…with perfect fretting and really nice pickups!), but I took it back yesterday and…well…at the end, it’s still fun to play! 😀 Cheers from France! 🍷
i got a s7 there really good
Here’s a vid with my Strat as well👍😎🇺🇸 ua-cam.com/video/plDwSt-j3xc/v-deo.htmlsi=QVlzLAFg5ju6j9kA
'it like 2 in the morning here snd everyone is asleep '' .....30 seconds later he dimes it out and says''ok lets rip this thing '' this guy is awesome !
Is this the revamped one with the full depth body? I have the new walnut studio coming in tomorrow, the new one!
Nice sounding and beautiful too! I just can't afford one.
“Better” is probably the wrong word. For me personally, the rosewood J45 Studio is much clearer than the walnut. Neither sound as rich as the real deal to me though but it’s all down to personal taste.
Meh. I prefer the sound of a real J45
Well done
Ahh you like Spalted, I love the way the wood is naturally formed
I pick up my 712 more than any guitar!
Even shred: ua-cam.com/video/hgmN14-qnuk/v-deo.html
Excluding the Nut, I count 18 Frets.
????? It's joined at the 12th fret dude. You do know that most are joined at the 14th fret right?
@@matthewcutrone7073 No, I didn't know that. sorry. I just counted the frets on the fretboard.
Nice guitar man. A friend of mine bought a 72 or 73 Gibson SG Deluxe at a local record/guitar store in Palm springs, CA. I think he paid $250. He still has it today.
Wow how long ago did he get that! Lol
He got it back in 1972 or 1973. I think he was in Junior High School. He still has it I believe. It looked exactly like thiswww.guitare-village.com/occasion/_images/2017/20170911/delux1.jpg@@matthewcutrone7073
Got the 2/5 GM Tele bridge pickup with flatwork bobbin (rather than molded plastic) A5 poles on the bass side A2 poles treble. 7.2K 3.6 henries. Its pretty darned amazing for less than $30, blackguard sounds.
Guitar madness pickups really are unbelievable
Two very unique beautiful guitars👆
I just did the comparison between the two. I think "better" might be the wrong word IMO. The walnut is much brighter, but the standard is punchier and rounder on the low end. I'd love to have both for different scenarios :)
This series is torefied. That’s why they sound sow big. I have the 717e sunburst left handed.
beautiful, and sounds amazing!
So is this the $1200 artist one? That’s the only artist one right? And how much did the relic job cost? I own one and I’m wanting to do that to mine
Don't know. Sold it for 1k
