Переглядів 676 місяців тому
The 33-year-old structure served two 100 kW FM stations 92.3 and 104.1. A 2,000-foot tower in Vacherie (it was the tallest structure in Louisiana), co-owned by iHeartMedia and Cumulus, was destroyed during Hurricane Ida. The tower is on Dicks Road in Vacherie in St. James Parish. It was built in 1988, according to FCCInfo.com. The tower came down with only about 150 feet still standing, as can ...

That’s awesome
Never been to a Globetrotters game before, very entertaining!
wow! Where are the slave houses? Amazing footage. thank you
I believe this was one of them ua-cam.com/video/mVIqGDO5G_0/v-deo.html www.evergreenplantation.org/our-history-3
My family were slaves here
Beautiful... Nice footage!
Beautiful ❤❤
Pretty cool! 😗
I remember inspecting water towers in San Antonio years ago. Coming over the top and seeing a wasp nest half the size of a VW bug 😂. Drones? Pussies! 😂
Mr. Clif Are you still doing drone footage? I would love to see ALL the plantation’s in drone footage. I belong to a Facebook page that research’s and post old pictures or new pictures of Louisiana plantation’s and we all would be so grateful for the footage especially Ashland Belle Helene’. Thank you Rena
just seeing this, I don't get notifications on my video comments I guess. I've never been inside Belle Helene this guy did a video a year ago ua-cam.com/video/LNNcLQyNSMg/v-deo.html Not sure what year that guy was able to tour it but I believe its no longer open to visitors and a drone video would be quite difficult due to the amount of nearby trees.
Nice flights. What was your location on the controls?
Parking lot next to Margaritaville. Now there's a building and stuff in that spot.
Bridge to nowhere….. what was so wicked was that the bridge was built with no on or off ramps ….it stayed that way for years…..talk about WICKED looking
Damn, Braithwaits!🤠🤠
aluminum and silver help to heat up the atmosphere helping to dissipate the moisture and forming dryer air conditions. The weight of the metal particulates make the air more dense and heavier as well allowing it to sink. Cloud Seeding is also helping to remove clouds when they choose to do so. Keep Looking Up!
Beautiful! I would have loved to have seen it as a working plantation back in its day. People seem to only focus on the slaves and their ill treatment. I am very fascinated by the entire working practice of the plantation. They were huge! They surly made fortunes both nationally and through exports. Too bad there isn't a TV series that focuses on it. We had 'Roots', it's time for the real working plantations to come to the big screen. It is absolutely fascinating. I believe the exports side of the business eventually led up to the Civil War, because NY demanded more money from import/export tariffs and warehouse storage. Not to mention the political side- State Representatives based upon population of a State, GDP, and the vast amount of money the Southern States had. If I had the money, I would make a TV Special Series of the real working plantations back in their prime time; all the way up to the Civil War. It should be from a political perspective, not from an abolitionist viewpoint- but from a Southerners'.
Do you license this videos?
sorry I don't get notifications on my video comments, just seeing this. I have sold the right to use several of my videos to different companies for use in documentaries, commercials etc.
Evergreen is amazing - We could not find entrance - it was October.. drove right up to it.... It was so wonderful ... love all the history.

SO IS THAT THE MISSISSPPI? THEYD HORSE CART THE CANE RIGHT THERE PROBABLY?

Oh my
How many bridges are there over the Mississippi River?
133 if this is correct en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Bridges_over_the_Mississippi_River
It's eight of them in Louisiana
I’m reading a photography book by Clarence John Laughlin: ‘Ghosts along The Mississippi’. He photographed Louisiana’s past in extraordinary photos of old plantation homes. This one is featured in his book. It dates: 1830’s. Eryone should check it out from your local library.
thanks

Please change the music. I had to mute it to be able to watch it
Turn down volume that simple...
I did turn it down, smarty pants, but that is just as bad watching it silently. I am allowed my own opinion, you know, unless you are a democrat!
Just watched Antebellum, which was filmed here. Awesome film.
🤩This property is absolutely STUNNING👌
The beginning of the video rolling up the drive way looks like a scene from Django
they filmed django here!
Wildly inappropriate music.
😆
Would you prefer banjo or blues? All you have to do is turn your volume down...
Oh no!
Need one for making rounds at the river
And attach a can of wasp spray to it.
I live in the neighborhood in the beginning it is sunset ridge I have seen drone before
I live in the neighborhood to
cool, love the music
Its the Peter Gunn theme song by Henry Mancini.
You used to be able to search 1.21g on O’Reilly website and it would pull up the flux capacitor
Only comes up with a flywheel ring gear now....
What the hell is with that music
The cell phone tower wondering why it's in the middle of the cane field lol
Maybe I can use this music haha ua-cam.com/video/vHxFa08XE3w/v-deo.html
Did you work on the set of django movie, may I ask
No, sure didn't.
Beautiful! Great video!
Damn. Are we there yet? Longest driveway ever.
Yes it was long, 2600 feet I believe. That was the hardest part of filming it by drone.
@@ClifD Where is the tree lined drive ? What was it used for ?
@@PrettyGoodLookin Right off of Hwy 18, entrance to the cane field today.
@@ClifD TY. But, Where is it in your video ? ( the tree lined driveway )
@@PrettyGoodLookin In the very opening of the video.
Beautiful work.
Any good fpv spots near the casino I'll be visiting don't know the area.
There are some open parking lots in the area from torn down buildings from Hurricane Katrina and such.
Yes! You're back!!!
Yes been a while...

wow how far way was the water park away from where you were? did you do all this watching a mobile device? If so amazing, wish I had that much courage. Awesome job, I have subbed your channel, please do the same for me.
A couple miles, I've got some mods done on the drone that helps with range but even stock it's awesome. I use a 10" ipad so its easier to see things. Check out this one ua-cam.com/video/z2EGHjkZY30/v-deo.html
What the title of the music used in this video
It's titled "In Albany New York." I don't recall where I found it, but it was a free online mp3 site with instrumental music mostly. You can get it from my video with this site ytmp3.cc/ - keep in mind I have fades put in so you lose a little bit volume in the beginning and end.
So much history and i love this style of house i wish i knew the demensions i would make it haha
There are government architectural drawings in a database of many of the homes. Here is Evergreen's documentation. www.loc.gov/pictures/collection/hh/item/la0338/
