As we die to self , it all becomes a sacrifice of surrender and denial and ultimately replaces that which we hold dear , even this temporal life with it's many fleeting pleasures.Hebrews 11 gives as a peek into what could be our lives. I enjoy going to way point,but I personnally thought yesterdays msg was off the mark.Man shall not eat bread alone but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of god.2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. I have been blessed by the previous teaching on the holy spirit in romans and corrinthians.I am looking forward to the upcoming teachings of the battle of the mind,because its an essential part of how we endeur our reality.I dont know what's after that but I am a bit concerned that the church isnt informing the flock about the times we in and revelations.Forgive my critique/concern.I am by no means attemting to stir anything up here.If you dont mind me sharing some of my research,if you think I am way off,feel free to let me know.The jewish feasts are gods appointed times.Jesus filfulled those the first 3 sping feasts and the holy spirit the 4th on penticost.The 3 remaining feasts are the feast of trumpets(taking away of the bride-us),feast of attonement(i could assume assumement day, feast of tabernacles,milenium reign).Why am I so concerned with this.Well,Israel is regarded as the fig tree,and in revelations,when the fig tree blossoms and comes home,that that generation shall not pass until the second coming of the son of man.Well israel came home in 1948.What's a biblical generation.In the book of psalmes,a generation is 70 years and 80 if he terries.Well israel has just celebrated their 70th year in israel.Jesus says no one knows the time or the hour,not him nor the angels,only the father.The jews use this idiom for the feast of trumpets,because they need 2 witness's to witness the sighting of the new moon.Its directly parallells the book of Revelations.There's 100 trumpets in the feast of trumpets and in revelations on the last trump,in a twinkling of an eye,people will be caught up.The parable of the 10 virgin brides get announced at this feast.When they say he will come as a thief in the night,that is for the people that arent watching, and are caught unaware.The book of daniel prophised his 1st and second coming.I jesus was disapointed that the people of israel werent aware and waiting for his 1st coming,dont you think he expects us to know about his second coming.He should be coming in the 70th week.I do know a lot more,but just giving you guys a heads up and your thoughts on the matter.thx
