Beethoven Sonata No. 14, "Moonlight" (First Movement)

I have never felt so much nervous tension playing for a live audience of 0. Cameras and microphones anthropomorphically exert a huge amount of pressure, so I needed to do more than one take, and after the last take, which is the one I used, I was mentally exhausted. Anyway, please forgive the dropped notes and choppiness, and please enjoy. :)
Vacation Montage with Bach Prelude in C Major

I took these shots on a vacation in California four years ago. However good I am at getting shots now, I was much worse then. I came away from the vacation with lots of overexposed, out-of-focus, shaky, blotchy B-roll. But the things the B-roll depicted were in themselves beautiful, and it hurt my conscience not to honor them with a completed collage, even after four years. So, here's my best a...
Rain Photography with Brahms Piano Music

(Please watch this in 1080p. It looks way better that way, go figure.) I looked outside and saw rain falling. The sky reflected off the road and the roofs of houses, turning them silver, while darkening all other colors. I figured I'd take a picture or video of it, and ended up sitting outside for an hour, finding shot after shot to get. In like manner with my Nevada photography video, I cut th...
Photography of the Nevada Wilderness with Hilary Hahn's Bach

I was given a chance to see a beautiful rural area of Nevada, and was excited to bring my camera and tootle a "Documentary" into existence. I planned to film anything that caught my attention or interest, using whatever style my impulses dictated, and edit it based solely on abstract connections, caring nothing for the real continuity of the event. That's not to say that I wasn't very intention...

Spooked - Short Film by Gabriel Behimer
Переглядів 1,2 тис.Рік тому
This movie was written, shot in thirteen days, and edited between October of 2022 and February of 2023. It was all I could think about for months. This is also the highest budget movie I've ever made (excluding my laughable equipment, which I already had) because I had to buy the flashlight specially, causing the total budget to balloon to $12.75.

This is amazing! This is the first video I have found from your channel, but it has found a place in my heart! May God Bless You, and Keep You!

I can hear every piece of punctuation!😭 Your reading aloud is phenomenal. Brilliant choice of literature, too! Mr. Ryle seems like a master of gut-punches.

A very detailed and thought-out performance! Oh, and I guess Shakespeare’s okay, too. The shots were also arranged very prettily! <3 (Doubt thou the stars are fire, etc.)

What an awesome episode! Very cool to learn about Pastor Stephen’s journey to ministry, but I was especially stoked to hear about The Duarte Meet-Cute and his rap career. The last 3 minutes is my very favorite!!!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I love how gentle and solemn your rendition is. And also that you sustained that last note to within an inch of its life. Moonlight Sonata never knew what hit it. <3

I love this so much! A lot of these shots are jaw-droppingly beautiful, and the rest are candid family moments, which are equally beautiful if not more so. I also loved your choice of music! And I think the shakiness adds humanity and character. ;)

I actually teared up watching this. The only thing that could possibly improve it would be hearing the rainfall, but then you would have achieved the perfect video and art would have had nowhere to go but down. I appreciate how you didn't just do the artsy closeups but also the simple and honest yard shots - there was a hose spread across the hill and a random traffic cone and an impressive number of garbage cans. After all those lovely muted colors, seeing the red flowers at 3:03 was a physical shock. I loved every single shot, but my favorites were the clouds and the tree with the focus shifting from top to bottom. This video feels like home. <3

If you turn it up, you'll notice that I actually did put in rainfall sounds. So, I guess I won.

Gorgeous! Awe-inspiring! Kind of surprisingly emotional! Nothing is more beautiful than those Nevada mountains, but the music you chose is a close second. My favorite shot was the one where you focus on the wildflowers in the foreground and then zoom way out to the mountains. I relate to the girl at 4:30 because I, too, could stare at this all day. <3

Funny. Between your favorite shots from this video and from Rainfall and Brahms, it seems that you like extremely shaky camerawork. I guess I'll capitalize on that in my next video.👍

Still beautiful upon rewatch. Congrats on capturing the heart and soul of Nevada! I especially loved the last shot. <3

Looking forward to future videos! Will you have any kind of upload schedule? Audio quality is top-tier. You seem like a very articulate guy. Great hair, too. 👍
