@@YungFalcon Persona 3 Reload, Slave Zero X, Rise of the Ronin all got snubbed. Its super frustrating that if you arent like the Hit Indie of the year (balatro), They dont even acknowledge even the biggest indie titles outside the token one.

IDK if I "I don't understand", I have a different interpretation or personal take with yuffie. And no she doesn't only care about herself there was a entire intermission chapter about her clearly caring, for the avalanche splinter group with the likes of Sonon, Nayo, and Zhijie. She also moves more militaristic and is heavily anti-corpo, considering her national pride with Wutai. Sure she's selfish in the sense she's a diehard wutian that'll live and die for her cause. But saying she only talks/cares about materia after playing that entire expansion is straight up false. She sheds tears for sonons death, cries when the plate drops because she just met and interacted with those people. Has multiple comments about how cool Barrets section of avalanche is. States throughout the expansion she's ONLY into the secret materia to turn the tides of the war. She's clearly not the same character she was in OG ff7. In Rebirth it feels like they laser focused on the materia aspect and reverted back into this "naive" kid. Which I would subscribe to if it wasn't for multiple chapters in the game of her real mask slipping like when they walk through the corel reactor and we get a glimpse of her traditional arc from intergrade as she talks about the oppression she's faced at shinras hand, in mt. Nibel we get a glimpse of how she used to be, once she finds the wutian troops defeated. Sure she's supposed to be comic relief but that should never mean dumbing her character down to basic traits imo. I'll agree to disagree with this personal take is all. I don't find yuffie a bad character in rebirth just one that I felt was under developed and I'm sure the sequel will flesh her out more.

Yep! Glad I sparked some memories on the kino that is ergheiz God bless the ring XD. I also agree I think a halfway checkpoint minimum would've been nice for the VR fights! But at the same time I don't mind the difficulty it was well worth the frustration for me at least XD. Thanks for watching this far! I got more JRPG content coming very soon!

Ultimate is valid! One of the best platform fighters out there imo! I agree team fighting games offer so much fun and diversity in the fighting game genre that it's hard for me not to love em'!

NO SHOT I MISSED THIS ONE NOOO I've played it before but I don't recall assist based fighting! Probably because it's in kanji and I missed something 😔 thanks for the heads up!

@@YungFalcon yeah its pretty bonkers- filled with infinites and all. Even has that thing that you loved from Groove 1? (never heard of that title btw so thanks) with the assist in the background following you as you move and then popping out when you call them in. Assists are also tied to individual characters who essentially are connected to them in lore. Really sick game, if you want to see matches check out - ゲームセンターWILL - just copy and paste that into youtube along with "Basara X" that channel uploads HD matches at high level.

@@YungFalcon Also think you didnt mention Nen Impact which might snatch some chains when that drops. I havent seen a game that degenerate in a minute and they don't seem to be apologetic about it either.
