I was luck enough to be on the Trans Pennine Trail on Good Friday to catch the end of the Ultra GB M2L. I had a great day running the G2E course. It was a very well supported event and a great intro for me into the world of ultra marathons. Thank you to all the volunteers and GB Ultras team. 🙌👏👏👏🍾

Thanks Wayne, really helpful briefing. My training has gone well and am currently in the self doubt and abject panic phase. 🤯 Looking forward to meeting everyone and starting the run. On a more practical note are there loo's along the course?

For anyone who was planning to travel by rail after the race like I was, there is currently (as of 28th Sep) a rail strike planned, and a very limited Scotrail service will be available. Not sure how Mainline services will be affected though.

Definitely a race of two halves - the part in the dry with sunshine, then the bit after 45 miles, when it was wind, rain and darkness... Still enjoyed it all though.
