💡 Just got these side table lights installed in the master bedroom!
Like our chandeliers, vanity lights, and other fixtures, we’re all about precision. Before the electrician sets the fixtures, we use blue tape to measure and mark the exact spot for perfect placement. 🛏️ With the homeowner's input, we measured where the bed and nightstands would go to ensure everything is centered just right. This goes for vanities too-we use mirror sizes to position everything perfectly. You using 3 phase in the house? Why not a Form 16S Class 320 meter instead of the k-base meter? In the event you need to replace the meter, you just pull the bypass handle instead of having to avoid 6 buses and unscrew 6 nuts. In our area, k-bases are magnets for lightning strikes… they’ll blow clean through that can lid.
I don’t know if the code is different from state to state but in Ohio everything we do is around 18-24” even for a larger service
I remember I spent 3 days chipping thru a giant footer 😭 I hated it
There is a section on burial depth and not every thing is 3ft deep.
Correct. The utilities dictate service depth.
My guy, any decent electrician should have a PVC hot blanket, warm that shit up and offset it out from the wall. Takes a half hour. Don't spend hours chipping out the footer. Blankets are not some special tools only us commercial guys have, a resi sparky should have one too just for underground.
