Hi, Depending on the HDMI protocol, the application and decoder detect the capacity of each element of the installation and adapt accordingly. In other words, if the TV remains in HDR it is because either the TV or the amplifier or a link does not allow Dolby Vision. Is the TV compatible with Dolby Vision?

I worry that you/Strong are trying to make up stuff to fit a theory - I am being very specific (here & always) describing the issue & if you are an engineer then you should not suggest, after reading me, what you did suggest and... if you are not an engineer/developer at Stong then... you - but anybody also - can easily reproduce the issue I described. I'll try again - find a movie, easily in a streaming service, which is specifically in HDR10+ then confirm (however your TV does that) that image/stream is indeed played back in HDR10+ format - for that you must have: preferred range of HDR set to "Dolby Vision" because..... only if set as I described above, then.. specifically ! HDR10+ is gone. Now, I have not tired every single TV or brand there is, but three different modern Panasonic TVs (LZ & MZ series) clearly confirm the issue - again, specifically & only HDR10+ is not there (no Dolby Vision too, obviously) - the rest / other HDR modes / "lesser" HDR modes, are still available. Such a film which moment ago was played in HDR10+ now - Strong box reboot required - is in HDR(PQ) @Strong: is this Panasonic's issue &| what is going on here?

Hi! The Leap S3 supports Dolby Atmos Passthrough, which allows the Dolby Atmos signal to be passed to an external receiver that can decode it. The SPDIF Port outputs a raw signal that must be decoded by the amplifier. So a Dolby Atmos amplifier connected to this port outputs Dolby Atmos if this format is present in the content. - STRONG Team
