According to feedback and personal experience over more than a decade this is a common problem with a simple solution that Amazon refuses to address. The price of reshipping returns alone should be cost prohibitive, but this is their policy. When I order what is listed as new, I expect a new item to arrive. If you sell collectible items and refuse to protect them in transit, you affect the whole community of collectors as this drives prices up for the items not damaged by negligence, and this is clearly negligence. Amazon description of a used item "(Like new): An item in perfect working condition, the packaging may bear some damage. The item fully functions, and all its essential accessories are complete." This is what you get more than half the time when ordering new. This seems like it's fraudulent after so many years of feedback and complaints to their customer service about this very issue with zero changes to policy despite their own legal descriptions.

Hi I am a corrections officer at a Corrections Facility in Maryland. I have been a victim of fmla retaliation for over a year now. I have recently had to seek psychiatric treatment due to the abuse I have suffered. What my employer does is when I return from fmla they wait a day or two and put me in the worst possible posts in the facility. They also like to catfish my posts. Put on the schedule the night before I will be in one post then the next day change it to a different much worse post. They have also refused to grant me a permanent post due to my illness and fmla. All of this making my illness worse, my depression worse, my anxiety worse, my self esteem/ worth completely gone. Other than my fmla illness I believe I’m a good employee. I do my job I’m never late. I guess another thing about me is I am extremely introverted. They don’t like that either. I was hoping I might have some type of recourse.
