Flying 6249 miles to surprise my girlfriend in Hong Kong
Decided to fly 6249 miles to ask the love of my life to marry me in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
I have been planning on proposing to Anni for the past year. I had always dreamt of proposing to Anni in Hong Kong, however due to Covid restrictions, this seemed to be almost impossible. Anni had travelled over to HK for 3 months to see family, however sadly I could not join as I had recently started my new job, and couldn't afford to quarantine in a hotel for 7 days. Luckily, in early October, Hong Kong announced the removal of hotel quarantine for tourists, meaning the proposal plan was back on! I booked my tickets, with a 35h stopover in Zurich (originally 22h however flight was cancelled) and set off for Hong Kong, with Anni being totally clueless about my whole trip planned. I actually had a really bad cough in the week leading up to my flight, which made the daily PCR tests in Hong Kong really stressful. Luckily, they all came back negative and I didn't have to quarantine in Hong Kong for 7-14 days.
Biggest shout-out to Anni's sister Anqi, I planned this all out with her, from keeping Anni clueless about the whole thing and directing her where to go without being suspicious. You are amazing.
And finally, shout out to my fiance Anni, my best mate. Thank you for an incredible week in HK, hope this video highlights how much of a beautiful soul you are.
I hope this video also highlights how truly beautiful Hong Kong is as a country, and that it isn't just a concrete jungle like some stereotypes say.

Literally just put these clips together as i didnt use them in my main video, but didnt want them to go to waste :) The last clip, bare in mind that it was late at night, everyone had been freestyling all day, memo had battled in round 1 already earlier in the day, then boom 2nd round he pulls off possibly the best round in freestyle history.
