@@der_anwuerzer it will need changes to the winner action to get or create then increment a user variable for the winning user. No c# should be needed.

@@MustrdFennec for the shout out command that is triggered, what variable is used? If you go to the action queues tab then action history, you can see which variables were set at the start and end of the action to understand what's happened and which variable to use.

@@VRFlad Ta -- in the Firsy Words it's left blank & the Userid is unticked.. In the add target info the source type is user with bllank variable

@@VRFlad I've used your customso with %user% -- the command works fine.. But I'm struggling to make a separate action for First Words - Get Info to always pull the correct user.. Some times it works fine but randomly other times it'll shout-out the actual first word the user put in chat as if that first word is a username.. I've tried a combination of all sorts to the point I've forgot what I've not tried and where I started lol.. probably gunna have to delete them and start again from scratch to reset my brain

@@MustrdFennec for the failing issue, locate the action in action history under the action queues tab and check the variables for it by right clicking and looking at what is set for user at the two times.

@@VRFlad I have watched your video again as I could not find the test button. Looking at your version of streamer bot(01.10) in the video you have on the far left a tab that is the events tab where you can do a test from the little box with test written on it @4:10 in the video. My bot(0.2.4) has no events tab at all so I cannot use a test button. This must of been taken out in a recent update for some reason? Is there some other way I can do the test you want me to try? I would also like to reiterate again that it does not always just go on a spamfest of fireworks until i manually pause it. It seems to only happen when some members of the community gift a single sub. some members it works fine which is the weird part.

@@bongobob7079 since the UI change of streamer bot, you need to go to the action and then in the top right pane you can do a test of the relevant trigger ( gift sub)

@@VRFlad Thanks for the tip and help. When I did the test trigger of gift sub it did in fact just carry on and not stop just like it sometimes does when members gift.

@@VRFlad Ok I have done some more testing. If I just do "test trigger" It will go on forever until I pause it and reset it. If I use "simulate event" it works fine and stops. I have tested many types of simulation and as far as I can tell they all work as intended. But in the real world someone gifting just one sub will sometimes go on forever and sometimes not. on a precentage scale I would say 8 of 10 go on forever when done by a community member live on stream. If someone gifts 5 or more subs though the bot has no issues. It is only ever with 1 gifted sub that the issue arises.

I'm looking at creating a new shout out player in the future and I'll see if it's possible to filter out clips over a defined length as part of it.

@@VRFlad I rewrote it myself that only a predefined length of clips is used. I would be happy to share it with you.

@@Darth_Baobab Thanks for the offer - I will be doing a complete rewrite of this due to more recent clips being stored in a different location so it needs to be updated for that.

It is coming! There are a few fixes needed here so I'll be doing those fixes first to put in with the updated import string.

@PyroVanGogh89 it's updated now. You'll need to import it again, but only the consent action is needed if you've already set everything else up.

@@orionp4532ensure that the setup command (trigger) and action are enabled and see if it shows up in action history. Is twitch showing at connected? The fast track packages are due a few fixes before they get updated imports released.

I am guessing I spoke on the SB discord about this - the issue was that 1) broadcaster account was used for bot account. 2) the broadcaster account wasn't connected to chat so didn't pick up !setup

VRFlad responded back to me in the Streamer Bot Discord and was able to demonstrate to me that I needed to reconnect my twitch account, and disconnect my bot account under Platforms > Accounts. Works for me now ty again for your hard work VRFlad

Not yet, no. There's been some changes in Streamer bot so a new version is required.

@KJNeely7854 This should be updated and should have the triggers (events etc) attached in the import code. You will need to enable each of the commands manually in the commands tab though. It's not tested so please do reach out if it doesn't work.

Is streamer bot aware of the user - Can you find them in the viewers tab?

I changed it to preload the clip along with the recent changes to support newer clips. Did this help?

@@EastCoastGarlicToast suggest putting a support post in the streamer bot discord mentioning my name and sharing the code. I check every so often and in the meantime someone else can suggest things too.

I figured it out! In my "Edit Command" on Streamerbot I realize I had "Location" set to "Exact" which is what I usually use for other commands, but upon changing it to "Start" it worked! Woo-hoo! I didn't even need to change anything else.

You can't unless you switch to obs. Not sure if obs with the streamlabs plugin is similar but that should work - streamlabs.com/obs-plugin

You can set a trigger on obs scene change to check which scene and to run the command if it matches the brb scene.

I fixed it by adding a trigger to a Pulsoid Main HR. Trigger was: Integrations - Pulsoid - Heartrate Sensor

This should be able to be done without any custom code.

Triple clicking is the best way to select before using copy.

@VRFlad i got around it on my phone. New problem. The UI is a different version from the one in the video theres no "channel point rewards" tab

Suggest you check out the discord for streamer bot. It can do so much more than SLC. There is such a great community around Streamer Bot with so many videos and guides or those sharing solutions on the SB discord

What isn't working? If it's not sending messages to chat, the twitch connection is worth checking or the command not triggering the action. If it's not allowing people to join, make sure that the websocket server is running and that nothing else is using port 8080 on your PC which will interfere with this. You can use the following powershell command to see what uses port 8080. Get-Process -Id (Get-NetTCPConnection -LocalPort 8080).OwningProcess If you see anything apart from streamer bot in the list, you should change the port that works on.

Many ways to do this, the simplest is to have two identical commands, the video only allowed for a group that you add people too and the regular one denying this group.

@@VRFlad I got it to work now but they are very laggy on the player any idea why?

@@TheArtisticAlchemist not sure. It's just a Web page with a video tag in it. Usually the issues for playback seem to be related to browser acceleration in obs advanced settings.

@@VRFlad So hardware acceleration was the issue now my final question is how do I get clips to finish as it cuts off after a certain time and some clips are longer thanks again for the help you are a legend

@@TheArtisticAlchemist There is a max clip length that can be modified, but from memory it's in c# code. I think the max length was 30 seconds (30000ms) so you can increase from that.
