Not sure where heat and deep conditioning comes from a deep conditioner can be used with leaving it in as instructed for at least 20 mins whether it’s a heat cap or some form of hot oil that’s completely safe two different thing. I have heat allowance to use heat for styling it’s more of using heat less to style in terms of washing that’s completely fine

Hot water is not bad that’s a scam pending on your porosity type hot or cold water can react differently, I have low porosity hair so hot/Luke warm water i la best suitable for me as it can open up the hair cuticles and allows moisture in.

@@Ghkknbgxffe23454 this is down to preference if you are using cold and it works for you continue to use that, I use either hot or Luke warm majority of the time Luke warm I won’t be doing piping hot that would be uncomfortable, again this is your choice you don’t have to do what “your” hair needs 🙏🏽

You can start now but I would analyse it first since you only just started I would suggest you ask your stylist, again if you cutting only split ends there’s no harm as it shouldn’t be cutting off a lot! They say it’s recommended to cut split ends frequently to reduce to chances of you needed to cut more in the future. First have that convo with the stylist and let a professional cur it if you are a beginner

Great question, trying something new for my page also I want to reduce the amount of trims as well and have majority of all my hair so I can do different styles it will be great I’ve done before as well but during covid but cut it off as I wasn’t that committed to it as I liked tapper fades too much 😂
