Is there really no way but to physically reset the camera to change the wifi connection?
Yes, as of right now, you need to physically reset it to change the Wi-Fi connection. Inconvenient, but it's probably more secure that way. 👍
Hi, would this work with the v3?
Yes, the extension cord works with the Wyze Cam v3. I tried it with both the Cam v3 and Cam OG. It's pretty much like extending your wall outlet and works with other devices as well (just keep the rating in mind when using high wattage devices.) 👍
Would my Wi-Fi work if it's 5G? I just purchased 3 today and arrive in 2 days
The Wyze Cam v3 only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi so try to enable "simultaneous dual band" (2.4GHz + 5GHz at the same time) if your router supports it.
