Hi - thanks for visiting again. I haven't used the dozer in a very long time. I guess since I built it. I'm hoping for some snow to give it a try (my son is bothering me about it everytime he sees it on the shelf ;) ). Mixing: My guess is, that more advanced transmitters like my Futaba FF-10 can do it, but I've never tried. Another way could be the usage of a special ESC, like those from servonaut: www.servonaut.de/shop/de/shop_content.php?coID=114 www.servonaut.de/shop/de/?cat=c103_Doppelregler-doppelregler.html . I don't own any of them, but I was told they are very good.

I wired the two servos of each side in parallel. As far as I remember, I soldered it. You can use a Y-cable, too.

UPDATE: Since the servos won't stand still (or start running in sync), I ditched the internal controllers and soldered an ESC per side to it. Fixed it very nicely!

Frog Fish hi nice project. Before putting those esc how did you connect the battery? To receptor?

@@frogfish5612 would it be the same to use a big servo controller for each side and use only gearing on small ones?

maxi maldo I believe I connected the battery to both ESC, but removed the + cable on one of them, so the Receiver gets power only from one.

It is a lot of fun! We have much better cars (Yokomos, Xrays, Sakuras, etc) in our trunk, but driving this "limited" cars is so much fun, we race them more than the high-end ones.

I think its possible. But I don‘t think you (or anyone) can build a PC from scratch that is as good as a 400$ Associated (or any other brand). But for fun or club races it might be possible.

Frog Fish yeah, I'm not looking for a WORLDS winning car, just something that's a little bit More competetive than an 80$ kit that probably doesn't Even Have parts support.

Frog Fish That's a 4wd car so the geometry is very different, thanks anyways. I got to try a local guy's Pan car on monday and took a glance at it without the body, so I've got an idea of what I'm doing.

Thanks for asking! I'm sorry. Traxxas has mostly RTRs, and I really enjoy building my cars. Thus, I don't own any Traxxxas...(okay, the new crawler is pretty cool...but I still haver so much unfinished projects that I won't buy one near soon). I'm still not thru with my printed pan car…(I know, I promised a cool run video. My job involves a LOT of travelling, so I couldn't finish that project by now...). I wish I could update my channel more often...
