I saw AIC open for Kiss in 1996. Turned out it was their 3rd from last show with Layne. Didn't know them then but did after. Layne wasn't his best but still belted it out. I am so thankful to have seen them back then. This song and Nutshell almost bring me to tears. I am now almost 60. Some music just is just too real.

Jerry Cantrell is one of the best writers IMHO, Layne Staley had/has a God like voice

People don’t give Jerry Cantrell enough credit. He’s an extremely underrated singer/songwriter/guitarist. Of course when we hear him, we crave for Layne’s voice, in harmony with his, too. RIP Layne, you beautiful boy.

Im dedicating this song to my older brother who committed suicide on 6-20-22,i just want to say I love you bro and miss ualot,i hope your happy where ever u may be, hopefully there really is a place that's better than this place im at,i know one day we will meet again,i just want to tell anyone that is dealing with someone that took there life or whos thinking about it,i just pray for u and just take life one moment at a time.
