She had to understand how our gov't works in order to pass her citizenship test so that she could be a US citizen. Just because you Obots hate how some of the Constitution does not change the law. I disagree with your assessment of the validity of the Hawaiian birth certificate. The State has certified publicly that he is a US citizen, which is what is required by law.

Actually I did a series of 3 videos covering this topic, with references. Please feel free to check them out. British law at the time required that persons who had citizenship as the result of having a Kenyan parent had, at the age of 21, to renounce any other citizenship or lose their British citizenship. Since he didn't renounce his US citizenship, he lost his British citizenship. While both blood and soil are criteria for NBC, they are not required to be present in the same person.

Thank you! I appreciate people who provide references so that I can read and learn. However, the definition of dual-citizenship does not relate to or define natural born citizen. A person could not be president if he had dual citizenship, but Obama lost that status at the age of 21. Courts hold that natural born citizenship is based on the concept of jus soli ("law of ground") or citizenship based on where the individual was born.

While some things may be done traditionally, they don't supersede the rule of law, or interpretation of the law by courts. The law, as interpreted by judges since the late part of the 19th century holds that one can be a natural born citizen even if neither parent is a citizen. The Constitution does not define "natural born citizen" nor does it require 2 US citizen parents.

You should really read Smith's deposition (10/12/09)! It's very illuminating. If Smith, Taitz' "star witness" and the cornerstone of the case is telling the truth, then Smith is a convicted criminal, Taitz was having an extramarital affair with her aid who himself is a disbarred attorney, and that Taitz refused to do any research or investigation to prove the case. Smith was amazed that Taitz believed Obama had to prove his innocence in a US court of law! I'm amazed too!!

Good question, yet we see people doing such things every day. For instance, when Mr. Smith was deposed in Taitz' case against Obama, he stated several times that Taitz had coached him to lie. His testimony was damning! Either he's lying about her, or she's the liar. Even if Taitz was telling the truth she failed to do due diligence in verifying her evidence. Cpt. Barnett - her client - also castigated Taitz. With so many liars, what can be believed?

Why do birthers require a greater level of proof of Obama's status as a natural born citizen then they do of their own evidence? I know, I know! Because if they required the same level of integrity of their own sources they'd have nothing to talk about.

You are thick as a brick. A child does not lose his US citizenship, under US law. Obama never lost his in Indonesia and thus, never had to repatriate. This is simple, basic law.

US Immigration and Naturalization Law states that a minor child can not form the intent to give up his US citizenship. Even if his mother and stepfather wanted him to be an Indonesian citizen, Obama still would have retained his US citizenship and would not have had to take an oath to regain it. You can't regain what you've never lost. He went to Pakistan with a US passport like any US citizen could at the time.

I can show you my series of videos too, but mine are based on the Constitution, federal law, and legal determinations by actual judges. I did my own actual research before making the videos. I do admire your devotion to your cause, just not the amount of actual effort you've put into verifying what you say.

Interesting that you said there are two conditions of citizenship stated in the Constitution. Can you show me? Because every copy I've ever seen does not define natural born citizen. You must have one of those copies being printed by the Orly Taitz Publishing Co., the same folks who brought you the Canadian Birth Certificate forgery and the Kenyan Birth Certificate forgery. Frankly, I prefer reality and the real Constitution.

Just look at the mindset of dennymclain2008. The conspiracist mind is willing to create all sorts of intricate plots to explain away their own failure to authenticate documents. Taitz hasn't shown much interest in ethics in the past. I fully expect she'd explain away evidence that doesn't support her agenda.

Obama never had to repatriate because he never gave up his US citizenship. Check out the law itself and you'll see. Whatever you think of his place of birth, he had been recognized as a US citizen - with a US passport - when he traveled to Indonesia. US citizenship is remarkably hard to lose. Parents can't do it for kids. Only the child, when he's of age, can renounce his citizenship before a US official, but there is no record of that ever happening.

Even if he ever had an Indonesian passport, that doesn't negate his US citizenship. US law is quite specific in this. A parent can't strip a child of US citizenship; that child must, at the age of majority, denounce his own US citizenship and Obama never did that. There was never a need to reaffirm this. Just check out the law yourself. I've listed it in my previous videos.

Goose steppers don't have time to read. AP released Occidental College enrollment for Obama, registered as a foreign student with Indonesian citizenship. Why? Because he has Indonesian citizenship, he has an Indonesian passport. He never reaffirmed his American citizenship because that would make him a naturalized citizen having had Indonesian citizenship from his adoption by Lolo Soetoro. So he has COLB. And umpteen aliases and numerous Social Security numbers. He is a fraud.

She submitted a picture of a document; she doesn't know where it actually came from (she presumes Kenya), and again, there are parts of this document that make it a blatant forgery (signed by a laundry detergent brand; "Republic of Kenya" months before its founding, Mombasa was part of Zanzibar). Yes, for taking a blatant forgery like that and wasting the court's time on it she should be sanctioned and disbarred, along with all the other items in the lengthy bar ethics complaint against her.

Taitz is the "Queen of the birthers." She's put forth this allegation that this picture of a doc represents Obama's true birth certificate. There are very basic problems with it that make it a pretty obvious forgery. Any court submission is done under oath; if she's fallen for such an obvious hoax, then that's more evidence she has no credibility (not that she did anyway, her pleadings are packed with falsehoods). If your leader has no credibility, the movement doesn't either.

Protip: that picture of the doc claims that it's from the "Republic of Kenya." Problem with that is the doc is dated over half a year before the Republic of Kenya was formed.
