The comment about only 9 unique bosses is crap, margit, godrick the grafted, renalla, radahn,magma wyrm, godskin, dragon, maliketh, malenia, horah loux, radagon, elden beast, mogh, gargoyles, golems, leonines, erdtree avatar, black knife assasin, deathbird, knights cavalry, rykard, crucible knight, commander nail, tree sentinel, fallen star beast, ser gideon, bell bearing hunter, anseteral beast, astel, dragonkin soldier, rune bear.......even if you dont count all them ther are more than 9 main bosses? I know it wasnt you who made the comment but that that was nonsense personally. Other than that loving the video so far 👍

One of my main complaints about BL3 is that most of the characters don't shut the hell up, seriously I spent almost half my hours on this game just listening to people talk, so much so I've actually gotten severe Headaches from this game, It's the only Video Game out of the 100's or even 1000's of games I've played to get that Achievement.

The reason margit shows up 3 times is because he’s the Demi God he cares the most to stop you from becoming stronger and becoming elden lord the reason he didn’t die the first to times is obvious it was his spirit summon essentially that’s why the first 2 times you fight him he turns from a common enemy to margit but the last time you fight him he doesnt because it’s the real him so you weren’t fighting the real guy the first 2 times

Level up to kill enemies faster is fun? I find Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus more fun were you could kill the strongest enemies even in the first mission. Or many other action rpg games that your character only gets minor upgrades during progress.

The story already turned me off, then they did the skill tree DLC and made it not included with the $100 version of the game. I pre ordered the most expensive version of the game and they went lol thx moar pls. That was what ultimately got me off BL3.

It was a disappointment due to expectations, BUT also a great game. If it was the only Borderlands game ever made, it would probably be a 10/10.

Make sure to open the lock doors so that the run back to Rennala is quick. You just exit the bonfire run along the left building up the stairs and across the now open door and bridge.

Bounty of blood is yhe second best dlc. Second only guns love and tentacles. And even if you dont like it, it has the best guns. All awesone endgame viable guns: the root, flipper, gargoyle, light show, miscreant, unkempt Herold, and beacon. This dlc fucking rocks.

IMO this game needs end game content like the Diablo series, specifically a mechanic similar to greater rifts with leaderboards, which gives motivation to continuously grind for better rolled equipment to score higher on the leaderboard. Theres literally nothing to do once you have your gear

I never played borderlands for the story. I also never wanted to stop playing because of the story. Until BL3

I think bl3 was at first, and i refused to play it for a long time, but when directors cut came out, adding extra takedowns, ava murder mysteries, 4th skill tree, event activation and several other things made the farming and building far better. Flaks purple tree hardly working at all is a disappointment, i still would have preferred other vault hunters, and i still completed tune out the main story on new playthroughs, but it is infinitely better than it was on launch

the gameplay was the best but the story...................... fuck me the story............ the worst story and writing i have ever seen in a videogame. the amount of ACTUAL facepalms i did whist playing this is noones business. i probably literally slapped my forehead about 10 times whilst playing. it was just.......... so fucking stupid. Ava was probably the worst person ever and she got to be the commander of sanctuary at the end........ like what the actual fuck? if i was a character in borderlands 3........ i would actually shoot her in the face...... and i would consider myself on the good team.

If I had to say SOMETHING nice about this and New Tales from the Borderlands, it's that between Jakob and Hammerlock and the Tediore Soldiers (specifically the mexican standoff) is that deep down, there is still some remnants of original series, even if it's only through like, one person that wrote those.

The main thing I love about bl1 is the atmosphere, it was the start of the wasteland and everyone is scared shitless trying to survive and protect them selves

Agree to disagree on the Bounty of Blood DLC... it's based off of a spaghetti western. There's a narrator in the same way that there'd be a film narrator. The chimes are dissonant, but it adds tension - not everything needs to be a thumping EDM party 24/7 - that's oversaturated. They infused Japanese style with Western, which is how we get the chimes, the bath houses, the characters with Yakuza-esque tattoos, etc. And they finally gave us some serious characters who aren't shooting cringey zingers every 5 seconds. It's a cheesy, bite-sized, tropey adventure, but IMO it easily stands out as a fun DLC.

I know this is late but, at first yes big disappointment but now I'm playing it in 2024 it's more fun that I remember, do wish I could skip the story on repeat playthroughs though

Tldr: They did a lot of little things well, but dropped the ball on most of the big important things.

Vet here was the same for me it was underwhelming at first, but I’m playing it again now and I am kinda liking it a little bit better

I took my time and just explored as much as possible or came back later if I got stuck on a difficult part. It is one of the few games I have played where I have played over 200 hours and not get bored with it. I used the summons at the beginning just to see what they do but as I got better I found myself not needing to use them unless I had to answer the phone and they served as a distraction. I play with different weapons to make the game more interesting and more challenging.

I disliked it on launch. Was so excited for it, bought it full price, got to level 9 and didnt touch it again until 3 days ago. I love how the map looks. The guns feel amazing and the gameplay reminds me of doom. Its a solid game. I appreciate it more now than i did upon release

23:10 I have to solidly disagree with this point because Pre Sequel focuses on its story quite a bit more and Tales From The Borderlands is nothing but a story and both work beautifully because of it. While I do agree its not the most important part of a Borderlands game it definitely can enhance or worsen the experience especially because the characters in general have always been a massive focus point. Think of Borderlands as a Pizza. The gameplay, sound, and art, is like the dough, sauce, and cheese respectively. And with only these aspects it makes a baller cheese pizza. But most people mostly think about the toppings of a pizza, the story. So when the toppings are good or even great it greatly increases the enjoyment of the pizza. But when the toppings taste terrible it ruins the rest of the pizza no matter how good the actual pizza is.

Saying the story doesnt matter means you didnt appreciate handsome jack and your opinion is as bad as vaughn.
