That sounds like an amazing product. Definitely not a wrong way to go. I would say that the major differences would be in the ease of maintenance. Nu Finish is similar to a wax and can be a bit sticky when it comes to dirt, road grime etc… Bugs you still have to scrub pretty good to remove them. A decent ceramic such as Adam’s polishes graphine ceramic offers at least 9 years of protection but also adds a slickness to the finish. It hardens the surface from a 2h (factory hardness of the clear coat) to a 9h or a 10h. This also helps protect against scratches. Thanks for asking! The front bumper actually ended up fitting fairly well after a little bit of work. Was a bit of a pain to install and I would definitely recommend 2 to 3 people while mounting it. It actually shipped pretty quick. My memory is less than 2 weeks. The rear bumper is a different animal. It was 6 inches short from being able to mount and wanted me to remove my tow hitch. So what I ended up doing was taking the factory hitch off, cutting the hitch to fit the new bumper and then welding it to the hitch. I have video footage of that I just haven’t posted it yet. It definitely took some brain power to make it work. Overall for the price even with the headaches I’m pretty happy with it. I will be posting the video of the rear bumper install hopefully in the next couple weeks. Let me know if you have any more questions

Good eyes 😁 most vehicles come with major orange peel from the factory. The whole thing is orange peeled the camera sometimes with the different angles just doesn’t pick it up. We inspected the entire vehicle before we cut & polished it. We took our micron meter that measures clear coat to this Cadillac. This would tell us if the vehicle has been repaired or repainted. The readings were all the same so no repaint. Hard to believe but unfortunately that is factory paint.

@@GlassItDetail I’m a Cadillac enthusiast and also a professional detailer. If I ever bought a new Cadillac [not that I ever would because I enjoy a good bargain way too much. Lol] I would definitely inspect it like a fine tooth comb, that’s if I’d even let them remove the protective film they ship the cars with… But I sure as hell would raise an issue if I saw something like that for as much money as a new car costs. Not to mention it’s a friggin Cadillac! Lol. Edit: I’m watching your other video with this car right now and yea, I see what you mean because there’s also some nasty orange peel on the top of the trunklid. Wow. Beautiful color though.

@@Samuelfish2k this specific one is a plug-in hybrid that was assembled in China. It did not have the typical Chevy paint. It was actually quite soft when we first polished it. Orange peel drives me insane but it’s so much work to get rid of it. For a Cadillac I was a bit disappointed. But I feel we brought out the best in it. This is one of my favorite colors. Deep, amethyst purple.😁

Because that’s how much I’d have to charge you to get involved like that”… That usually shuts them up. Lol. Besides I don’t really want any part of effin up someone elses paintjob only to have them come back bitchin about “I think you removed too much paint” ehh spare me that bullshit…

It actually came back dirty. The owner told them not to wash it. If it was run through the car wash the whole car would be scratched. It almost looks like the tried to wipe it off with a highly contaminated rag.

I’m not going to say the name of the dealership. They are actually a really good company they just had one of their mechanics screw up the paint.
