Nice try young lady, and with great company better luck next time. Congratulations to you young man, nice bird. From " the Arkansas turkey whisperer..
AWESOME hunt!! What a hell of a morning! That's a morning I'm chasing each time I walk into the spring woods!!
As do we my friend! This is one we won’t forget! Thanks for watching! We greatly appreciate it!
Sure hard to be that! Patients pays!!
It’s not for everyone and some just won’t sit tight. But from our experience yes it pays off more than not. Thanks again for your support!
@harmonygamecalls absolutely man! Glad I found you guys!
What sections did u have?
This was in 8
Gotcha I hunted 5/6 turkey this past spring and got a feb 6 hunt this year not sure on section yet
That’s awesome! Good luck brother!
this man has a hell of a beard
lol. Yes he does!
Yay! I just watched the video with Pallaus and she is so nice she is in my class actually
Thanks for watching!
Thank y’all for the shout out and very excited for the trip!
Our pleasure! Should be a good time!
Good job!
Thank you! Cheers!
I would like to see y'all talk about teaching the kids and younger generation what to look for in the woods. Just all around woodsman ship. Teach them more then just go get in a shooting house and set over a feeder. Teach them the old school way of hunting.
Absolutely! Appreciate the feedback! We have some good topics based around that sort of stuff we intend on discussing very soon. Thanks again for your support and watching!
Congrats on your first archery buck! How awesome is it to have that memory on video!
Ah man that’s why we do it! Reliving these moments with friends and family is what it’s all about! Thanks for the congrats. It’s was a fun experience with the guys!
@@662OutdoorAdventures thank you sir! Yes it’s a big deal to have it on video! We have several “firsts” from both ourselves and our children on video! We’ll be able to look back on those memories for the rest of our lives! Awesome stuff!!
@@harmonygamecalls that's the main reason I take a camera with me on every hunt. It's all about the memories!
@@662OutdoorAdventures absolutely. It was frustrating at first, but we wouldn’t have it any other way now!
@@662OutdoorAdventures yessir, you’ve got that right!
heck yea!! I been missing you guys man. Congratulations on the podcast!!
@@johnk6264 thank you sir. Got some pretty cool stuff and people lined up. Good to hear from you again sir!
Great stuff guys! I enjoy the level of photography and videography ya'll are bringing. Looking forward to future podcasts! I just inherited my grandfather's old craftsman lathe he used to make things with years ago and my son and I are going to try and make some turkey calls or duck calls on it soon.
@@662OutdoorAdventures that’s awesome! It is extremely rewarding to use the things you make with your own 2 hands! Thank you for the kind words!
@@harmonygamecalls Absolutely! I've been a machinist for nearly 30 years. I just made my son a set of extended choke tubes for his shot gun. Now all his buddies want some. LOL
@@662OutdoorAdventures that’s awesome! You’ll do great with turning calls then being a machinist! Sounds like you may have a business model on your hands with chokes!
@@harmonygamecalls I’d rather be chasing critters with those boys than making choke tubes! Ya’ll have some great looking products, I’ll have to pick one out and place an order.
Thanks that’s awesome! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks for hanging out with us!
Good job on your first official podcast!
@@hollimasters7915 thank you! 😉
Good stuff guys!!!!! Bravo
Thank you Sir! Looking forward to getting you on and talking turkey sir!
Good hunt, congratulations on your big deer. Now the work starts!
Thanks for the kind words! We are ready to hit it wide open this season! Good luck to you this season!
Hey Brett Wanted to know how could I get one of y’all’s deer calls ?? How much are they ?

Hate to hear that! We are excited!
Gotta admit I'd let the ol boy live

@@itslucky9213 oh yeah! It gets you like that sometimes. Had 3 bucks around him. Pretty intense moment. Full video on the channel
What caliber
Even sir. This is actually a 270 Short Mag. If you’re familiar with that. Savage makes this particular one im shooting.
Love a good buck in the pineywoods!
@@zpl7685 thick pinewoods is about all we have in Alabama. 😂 thanks for watching and your comment sir. We greatly appreciate it.
Congrats Brett!! Good nice buck!
Thanks bud! Heck of a year last year! Looking for another good one this year.
@@harmonygamecalls love the part where u said….well Tyson is dead 👍🏻
Yeah long story behind that buck. I told my wife when I found him on trail camera I’d probably never see this buck again. 3 months later I call him in to 50 yards. Crazy.
Congrats brett!!! Nice Buck !!!
Nice! Congrats!
@@egoutdoors thank you!
Congrats on your first Buck bro! Enjoyed this video! Ol Brett Barns is a good guy to hunt with also. I’ve never killed a buck or a doe yet. Y’all keep up the good work gentleman
@@BamaGunsOutdoors thank you for the kind words! You hang in there and you’ll get something. Nothing like time spent in the woods. Thanks again!
@@harmonygamecalls let me ask yalll this … as y’all are hunting do y’all do better hunting over corn and deer attractants or no?? For me I like hunting over corn and attractants and I recommend the Big amd Js attractants. Used it couple years ago and took about a week but then so many does and raccoons came to it almost ever night!
@@BamaGunsOutdoors on the private land we hunt, we do utilize certain areas as a feeding zone with supplemental treats, but ultimately we hunt around the affective perimeter. We mostly use more beneficial things such as protein blocks and minerals or something high in protein such as Triple Grip.
Great watch
@@StruttinDownSouth thanks bud!
Newbie question, how high up are you placing your stands? Im doing like 15-20 feet but man it seema like the deer are eye level. I dont feel concealed.
@@Patrician9000 every situation is a little different. In my experience any kind of cover in front or back drop behind helps when applicable. But typically I hunt 25-28 feet as long as the situation doesn’t need something different. I try to choose locations to where I don’t have to worry about height as much as concealment.
Great hunt….great hunter…..really enjoyed this!
Thanks for watching Mr Ward! Appreciate the support and the compliment brother!
Congrats!
Thanks 🙏
That's a bearded hen.. but Jake's do yelp
lol. 100% not a bearded hen.
Brother I had one spittin’ and drummin’ at 60-70 yards this past weekend and due to the little draw I was set up in….I could literally feel it in my chest and throat. It felt like that dude was sitting in my lap. It is By Far the most amazing sound and feeling in nature period!!! It is the most beautiful sound ever created and will always make that heart thump thump like it never has before. Every time I hear and feel it…..I am Amazed!!!! Apparently there is a certain amount of people who can’t hear it because it is so low. That sucks because everyone should experience it. Thanks for the video man. Great stuff.
Yes sir it’s a very cool thing to experience if you can hear it. The game we play with these amazing birds is like nothing else in this world for us. To be able to immerse ourselves in every aspect of what these amazing birds do is what makes us do what we do from filming, photography to the hunt. We appreciate you watching and appreciating the work that goes into capturing something like this. Thank you sir!
@@harmonygamecalls We are Definitely Blessed to be able to experience such amazing creatures. It is one of the most beautiful, fun, infuriating and stress inducing things on the planet. lol 😆. I tell people it is like dating an amazingly beautiful woman that is crazy as a loon. lol 😆. I have been fortunate enough to have 3 birds right on top of me so far this year hunting in Lamar County Alabama but haven’t been able to close the deal yet. They have went from gobbling their brains out at dawn to dead silent. I have an old bird patterned and I think I’m gunna have to set up the blind and be where he crosses a ridge around 12-1pm each day. Stressed but Blessed brother. Thanks for all that you do for this sport man.

It is the most favorite part of the experience for me! I’ll give up 200 gobbles for 1 spit drum, as long as I already know where he’s at 😉🤣
Veey interesting video. Hoping to have a pot call made by them. Aka, the turkey whisperer. Check them out!
We’re gonna get you fixed up Mr Kirby! Thank you for your interest sir.
@@harmonygamecallscan't wait. You guys have been outstanding. Thank all three of you.
@@kirbyharrold9 yessir, our pleasure!
Your explanation sounds reasonable to me. I heard one spit and drum in Alabama last weekend. I'd say he was the dominant one. the other one with him was quiet and did not strut. So, I think your theory is right on.
It’s something we have dissected for over 25 years of hunting these birds. When you start to film and photograph these birds you learn so much more than hunting them.
Learning to identify this sound is the best way to level up as a Turkey hunter. It changes everything!
100% agree. And the timing of the sounds and spacing between drums is what I listen for the most.
Man yea!!! that was some pretty woods you were hunting there. Funny how they hang out behind a tree for so long. That hen about boogered it up for you. He just couldnt handle that soft calling you laid on him. Congratulations and keep em coming boys!
Thank you sir! There was a lot that played into that hunt. Nearly 2 full days of scouting ahead of the hunt and we were nearly fed up with it. Persistence was key.
Never heard the drum but can hear the spit on the video. Thanks
Yessir. If there’s a way you can hook up some headphones… it’s more obvious.
@@harmonygamecalls thanks. I will give it a try.
I have heard it several times including when I bagged a 24lb Tom last year. In my experience when a turkey spits and drums you hear the spit, but feel the drum. Sometimes you feel the drum before youhear the spit. This is just my experience and I am no expert.
Couldn’t agree more!
Your patience is impressive! Great video!
It’s extremely hard to show a great amount of patience in a video while also keeping retention of an audience in this day and time. While we value every single comment and/or feedback… yours means a lot. Thank you and glad you enjoyed the video.
Wonderful hunt. Glad to see you back boys posting some turkey stuff. Yall need to share these guys with your buddies.
How have you been sir! Yes we are getting back around to some videos. Been a crazy year but exciting one as well! Thanks as always for watching. We are going to try and keep up! GOT A GOOD SPRING PLANNED THIS YEAR!
Great hunt! Enjoyed the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you watching!
Good stuff! Congratulations young lady!
My son Holden was the one that killed him. My daughter was in the beginning. But either way we appreciate the Congratulations!! He was pumped!!
@@harmonygamecalls oh, I must have missed that part, congrats to the little guy then!
@@662OutdoorAdventures Thank you sir.
Awesome nothing I miss more than hunting with my dad
Myself as well sir. It humbles me to have had a father that would take the time to take me!!
Boy I never heard it as a two note but now I do. Drumming is the coolest sound in the woods
Thanks for watching! Good luck this spring!
@@harmonygamecalls thank you brother. 7 days😏🤘🤘🦃🦃🦃
