How To Make A Leather Passport Wallet - Acrylic Template - DIY Handmade Leather Project
In this video I am making a leather passport wallet, made with 4-5 oz. finished leather, and created from an acrylic cut template. Acrylic templates are a great way to achieve precise cuts and are great for making duplicate pieces and are very affordable.

Making Barley Lightfoot's Denim Patch Vest - Onward Halloween Costume
Переглядів 5763 роки тому
I decided to be Barley Lightfoot for Halloween this year and in order to do that I needed to make Barley's vest. This was a first for me - plenty of trial and error but I finally finished it! I purchased the denim jacket from Walmart for $23. I purchased the patches from NSCosplay on Etsy. The pins were purchased from DavidBellamyDesigns on Etsy. Please check out their Instagram pages at the li...
Nice little pouch and a nicely finished design. Many thanks for the pattern
❤thanks
Отлично! Просто! Спасибо за подробный мастер-класс. 😊
wow so beatiful
Looks awesome 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
What are the connecters, Or the claps that make the bracelet snap together called?
I think they are Line 20 snaps. You can get a bag of them fairly cheap from Tandy, but make sure you buy the accompanying snap setter. It is usually a little more expensive - around $10, but you only need to buy it once.
What kind of glue are you using?
Regular old barge cement I buy at Walmart. It works much better than the regular leather glue you can buy through Tandy or Weaver. It's probably a bit of overkill for something I was only going to wear once for Halloween, but it works great for all projects and it's super cheap.
did you just saddle stitch a dice pouch? are you planning on handing this down to your great great great grandchildren? bravo
No, but I don't want it breaking after I've sold it.
What size patch did you use for the phoenix? It offers two different sizes, and I am just curious.
I don't remember there being a choice when I purchased it. The patch is around 7"x7"

Thank you! I did this and love the result. Shout out!
I'm glad you like it! You should try it out with different materials and different sizes. I used the same overall design to make a large sling bag. I just connected the ends of the drawstrings to the bottom corners of the bag. That video will be coming soon.
thanks for the pattern. I will try it out soon.
Let me know how it turns out. The pattern works great with canvas as well.
Really? who needs a coin bag in 2022? Free PDF )))))))))))))))))))))))))
Those of us not foolsh enough to use Credit Cards for routine shopping. CASH is independent freedom, look into it sometime.
Impossible to use the link, to bad, looks realy cool! 🥺
Try to copy and paste. I just did and it worked. Something is wrong with my the link to my WordPress site thought, but the link at the top still works.
Good video! Where can I get the leather?
I bought this leather at Tandy. If I remember correctly, it is their finished pigskin. The string came from a big strip of Latigo I had laying around.
@@dungeondesigns104 Tandy leather in Lubbock? I’m in there
Great video! What is that type of stitching called?
Awesome
I love it! Makes me want to make one! Awesome work man!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to make. The hardest part was waiting for all of the patches to be delivered.
Only concern is if you had sewn the patches on to secure after you had ironed
I didn't sew them, but I did put 4 layers of heat n bond on each patch so it would stick. I couldn't get the first or even second later of heat n bond to hold, but 4 did the trick. So far everything has held well. I was concerned I was going to have to sew the phoenix on the back, but the double sided patch I applied worked very well.
This is amazing. Bravo! Good Job.
Thanks! It was a hit at the Halloween parade last night!
Another great video! Thanks.
Thanks for the video. Really cool design! Keep ‘em coming!
Thanks, will do!
Great Video!
This project was a lot of fun to make. I plan on posting a longer DIY later this week for anyone interested in the step by step process. I just have to finish the two leathercrafting videos I am working on at the moment.
This is amazing! Love how this DYI turned out so great. Bravo! I definitely sharing thia video off and putting this link on my button shop so others can see this.😄🙌
Thanks! I am working on a longer, true DIY version for anyone that is interested. I hope to have that posted later this week. I made quite a few mistakes and learned some valuable lessons. Hopefully the longer DIY will help people to avoid some of the issues I ran into.
