RPM Speedway Limited Modifieds 8-10-24
After being on the road most weekends of the last three months, we took two weeks off to rest and get the car ready for some more bull ring racing. This was our first trip to RPM Speedway and we had a good time seeing some of the old regulars from Devils Bowl and even the staff from the Devils Bowl out here now.

For the fifth week in a row we are at a new racetrack to us. Our mindset was a little different tonight as more of a testing session to learn some things since we plan to come back to Rocket again next week for the big $5000 to win show. Been to both 67 and Ark La Tex, but have never seen a race from this perspective with the Go Pro at either track. Outstanding.

At last count as of 10/23/2023 from Lucas oil speedway in Wheatland Mo and watching other races on tv there are 37 different classes of mods and 28 classes of late models lol really people
I hear you. When I wanted to get into this, I had to ask a lot of question to decern the different between a USRA limited mod, IMCA sport mod, norther sport mod, southern sport mod, b mod, a mod, eco mod, jr limited mod, outlaw mod, Wissota, UMP, and of course track specific rule differences. Fortunately, several of these are literally the same and several only require minor tweaks to be legal in one class or another.
WHERE TO RACE NOW ?? THE SUPERBOWL ? RPM ? KENNEDALE RACEWAY PARK ? I MEAN , THE BEST IS GONE , THAT BEING DEVIL'S BOWL SPEEDWAY , COW TOWN IS GONE , ROYCE CITY SPEED WAY IS GONE , WHERE NOW ? NONE OF THE OTHER TRACKS COME CLOSE , NO MORE PEPPER KUYKANDALL CAGE CAM , NO MORE CHRIS DAVIS CAGE CAM , NOTHING , I HOPE YOU GUY'S CAN FIND A TRACK , PEACE ❤️
I’ll be racing a bunch of different tracks next year. Touring around and maybe target some big events. I like bigger tracks, professionally run, and well organized. After getting to sample what the other tracks have to offer next year, I’ll pick a new full time track for 2025.
What RPM do people turn these crate motors?
Most if not all of us run open motors typically between 7000-7600 rpm
Two brothers, Monty Dale and Lannie Ross officiate here and Lawton Speedway as a family run enterprise. I led a charmed life because of these 2 outstanding gentlemen. I'm in Reno and miss this greatly every Saturday night. My son was with me every time and feels the same way. How fortunate for us to have had two friends like them! Love you guys! Brett H.

Where to now since Devil"s Bowl is closing?
I’m going to make my own schedule and try different tracks next year. Target some big shows and just have fun. Probably back to full time points racing somewhere again in 2025.
