Yeah rebirth did such a bad job with this track! What was they thinking. I can only HOPE that they rectify it in part 3. I'm genuinely annoyed that they messed it up man!

I definitely think they will revisit the Forgotten Capitol area. I had to replay the original FF7 after Rebirth and I forgot the party goes back there just before the end of the game, in which case they learn about Aerith praying for Holy to save the planet from Meteor. I would be very disappointed if they left it out. It's a great opportunity for them to properly remake this track for the final game. I hope they do it justice. 4 years is a long time to wait

Yeah. Birth is up there with Jenova and One Winged as one of the most liked songs in the original game. I have a feeling that instead of how it's portrayed in the original, it'll be portrayed as a more triumphant song, showing how now the characters can take on Bizarro easier than before to show their growth.

They probably will start Safer Sephiroth with it, a very imposing, epic version without the drums and guitar, and at the second phase drums and guitar join, then last phase transitions to One Winged Angel, I doubt we'll fight Bizarro again

And furthermore both creators of gf bio and KH actually are friends and clouds history within KH goes all the way back to the first installment. So watch your mouth cause KH music is composed by Yoko Shimomura and she is a legend. And furthermore Nobuo Uematsu and her work closely in various projects and have high regards for each other. You see when your good at what you do everyone and every rpg game will have your music in it

@iceclkeyheart3060 From what I remember, I think they only played those generic "grandiose" music you'd hear in fantasy type games. Song isn't bad but clearly its unmemorable for me.

​@@iceclkeyheart3060No sadly. You could argue it's "tonally inappropriate" for the ending, but the tone is all over the place anyway so I would have liked it to still be there It'll definitely be in part 3 though so don't worry too much

No Birth of a God at all really fucking killed that boss fight for me.

after 4 years

it will probably be the greatest remix in the entirety of the series, given when the remix of birth of a god plays will be the climax of the story. i expect 8(+?) character combo limit breaks with barrett laser guiding highwind to blowing the sh#$* out of sephiroth, with birth of a god resurrection(tentative name) blaring in the background with full orchestra and the greatest guitar solo in history of final fantasy. it will be glorious and epic, my ff7 fanboy/girl brothers and sisters and everyone in between
