hi I was able to also be away from short form content and instagram specifically . But my way was really kinda much easy. I started using instagram way back where tick-tock and instagram were not there. I used to post photos . One day I reached 100 followers and was so happy. But I saw one of my student she was girl and she just had her profile pic and maybe 5 photos on her insta and she had 700 followers. That broke my heart and I left instagram maybe if I had stayed things could have been different but . Ultimately that helped me a lot. When insta had just turned to reels I was not on there so I I never cultivated the short watching culture. Even now when I watch instagram I am not able to sustain that immense blast of asking attention and I delete it . I feel good where I now . I am termed boring by others and they are shocked when I say. I don't have insta Facebook snapchat ( never understood what tf that was for sending streaks to prove what) . Man, just randomly stumbled upon this video and decided to give this a go. And it feels like someone is literally describing my situation to the T. Pursuing my bcom at DU rn. Got enrolled like a month back or so. And I've applied for like 87 internships in the last 2 weeks with like 5 reverts? Was a bit lost and discouraged, honestly. And nobody here seems to understand why am I even doing this, even questioning why I do not just enjoy life. But truthfully, I can not afford to. And I find this fun as well! I'm a scholarship student so need to attend classes, then study for my CA exam leaving me with barely a few hours at night that I use to upskill myself or plain old copy pasting my cover letter and resume. Hopefully, I get my first client too. The UA-cam algorithm is getting a bit too real now. Guess I should subscribe, eh?

thank you for the amazing video ! I am trying to increase my attention span as I started school a few weeks ago. It's really hard to get my healthy brain back but I am making so much progress. I couldn't focus on a 20 min video but now I could attend a 3 hour lecture. The one thing that helped me the most was not watching long form content as my studies are done offline, but It was eating without watching anything at all. It was so hard but I am used to it know. Eating with family in specific made me realize how much time I was wasting eating alone instead of bonding with my family in the simplest of ways and Is truly good for your mental health as well. It's like hitting 3 birds with one stone.
