I have tons of boxes of cameras listed on ebay and even more I am struggling to get listed. So tedious. all the testing, cleaning, logging, photographing, packaging. I feel like my hair is going gray just thinking about it. Any advice for a budding film camera reseller like me? Just posted part 2 of my ebay selling workflow on my small youtube channel. Any critiques you can find on my inneficient process would be greatly appreciated! Thanks man!!!
Just watched your vid - funny! You know the drill - that many cameras is tedious. Heck, a bunch of anything is tedious but cameras are tough since there is so much testing. I don't test every setting just the main ones, the flash, zoom if applicaable, and make sure no corrosion in the battery case.
@@FindIt-SellIt-TellIt-md8pr Oh ya! the battery compartment is usually first test. Then I always feel obligated to see if it cleans up when I find the blue corrosion lol Thanks for checking me out man.

No, because shipping rates are too high.
True that fees can be a problem at time. It is usually an issue when I pay up for a large item - say $400 - but only sell it for a bit over that - perhaps $550. Ebays gets paid on the full sale price but I am only getting paid on the $150. Plus, a heavy item hurts since ebay takes a % of the shipping cost. Key is to buy very low and have a good profit margin. Or sell on Offer Up/Facebook Marketplace where there are no fees. Just have to be more selective in what you buy since the market is so much smaller
