I think the language she used was wrong because I'm assuming it's an elder since she said "you have been asking my dad for money before I was born".....at the same time I think she was correct in not giving them money because this means that this person will be living on handouts up until they die???....its clear that this person has a problem or very poor financial discipline asking for help is not bad but do not make it a ritual because you will always have a co-dependancy syndrome you will not be able to solve your own problems....approach was wrong though cause that language was disrespectful and also that family member didn't ask her for money on social media for her to take it to social media
