Good footage - I’ve yet to ride these - my main concern is that they’ve been built to cram in as many people as possible - I.e more standing room by having more grab poles and larger vestibules etc - I believe a 10 car 701 has less seats than an 8 car 455. This said, they do look nice and I look forward to riding one!

Lovely trains, massive improvement with air conditioning, spacious cabin, usb power sockets, etc. The rest of the fleet is nice (I'll miss those old 455s) but showing its age. Also small unknown feature about these units, these are the second fastest accelerating on DC in the country (behind the 777), and the fastest accelerating in the London third rail sections. This makes them extremely efficient and allows for shorter journey time, allowing for a more frequent timetable/service once they are the only trains operating on the suburban lines. You have a good presenting style, nice video, and best luck for the future.

Good video Adam. I am not in Britain, so I don't know about this, but it seems that the platform and carriage floor are far apart: a large gap between the platform and the door threshold, and the floor looks very high above the platform. Perhaps its just the angle of the camera, but I would like to see a video that shows the door opening and people actually getting in and out of the carriages. Thanks.
