Year in review 2024
2024 was marked by extraordinary challenges-from conflicts and climate disasters to shrinking civic space and rising inequalities. Yet, amid these crises, philanthropy has persisted in working towards a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.
By working together with our members and partners we’ve made significant strides toward strengthening ecosystems, influencing policy and practices, and transforming ourselves to better serve the philanthropic community. Thank you for being part of our journey to elevate philanthropy’s impact globally.
WINGS has had an impactful year fueled by our mission to elevate and transform philanthropy. We welcomed 24 new members, subgranted over USD 870,000 through the #LiftUpPhilanthropy Fund, added 40 new publications to our Knowledge Centre, and expanded the #PhilanthropyForClimate movement to 800+ signatories, among other achievements.
