Here's a video from last year of me and my E30 going through snow. Car has an LSD rear end 150lbs subs in the trunk. Exhaust was cut off under rear seats by previous owner but best winter driver I've owned, a blast in the snow

Just curious, how ridiculously loud are the open Headers. Its hard to gauge by the video. I’m wondering because I might drive around a day or two on open headers, before I get the rest of my exhaust ran. also did you leave yours open headers, or did you end up running a full exhaust?

Not bad, I guess, considering the depth of the snow. You're right, the LSD and weight certainly help. So does having the equal length halfshafts, unlike some FWD cars. I had a couple 2WDs that were OK in the snow years ago. I gave up on two wheel drive 21 years ago for all wheel drive and four snow tires. It makes it SO much easier.
