Well, that 68: Impala SS is not an SS. It is an Impala Custom Formal Coupe. In short, is a Caprice with cheaper interior. The SS package was not available on this model. However, this is still a pretty rare bird. Most buyers looking for a 2-door Impala back in the day wanted the Sports Roof model, and like I said, you simply could not get the SS packaging on any Impala in 68' other than the 2-door Impala with the Sports Roof line. still a pretty nice ride, though. Not sure it is worth almost 30K, though, especially considering it is less than pristine. My guess it is worth around 20K.
