Piece of PDX
United States
Приєднався 27 чер 2019
Piece of PDX started from the simple notion that everyone deserves to carve out a little slice of town that they can call home. We love to think of ourselves as hyperlocal real estate experts who know the market and really "get" what it means to buy and sell a home in the Pacific Northwest. Buying a home may be the single most important investment you will make in your entire life and we want to make sure we are here to help you protect that investment, not just when you are buying or selling, but for your whole life. We love our clients and consider many of them to be dear friends, even years after we've worked together. We are fierce advocates for our clients, from communicating to negotiating, we've got your back!
We would love to meet you and help you find your next Piece of PDX.
Sincerely,
Thomas and Patrik

@@prat1201 😂😂😂😂😂
No mention of Laurelhurst?!
We just have too many amazing parks!!!
I used to intern in the building above Old Town Pizza.... I think a lot of the haunting had to do with the Shanghai Tunnel underneath it.
Definitely!!!!
Paymaster. Young crowd though, especially on weekend nights, so I prefer Pope House nowadays.
Paymaster has been on our to-do list FOREVER!!!!
One reason to move away from oregon
@@dreamofficialyoutubechannel there’s plenty of unspooky stuff here too!!!
@@pieceofpdx yeah true but what whats it worth
Great video. Is Kay's the oldest business in the area? I know it has changed names but I bet a bar has been on that corner since the 1920s or 30s if I remember my research correctly. I know the drugstore across the street has been there for a while as well. I would assume the Moreland Theater would be the only business possibly older. The other interesting thing I found out about that corner is that if you look carefully on a map, you will notice a house in the middle of that block without any entrances to any streets. I believe that block used to all be houses and it was the last house to be sold for a business and it was turned into a storage area for one of the businesses in that area?
I just learned in 2024 that PDX is a nickname for Portland. I'm a new Portland resident living in the Mt Tabor neighborhood.
Pretty catchy huh?? 😂😂 how do you like it here?
Nice video.
Many many thanks!
Also, Pittock Mansion, Rimsky house, Hollywood theater, Avalon (a former funeral home & brothel) & Portland Hell house. Lone fir is a coven spot for witches doing rituals late night. (not an aparition, just a coven of witches :)
Some of the best!
Appreciate the positive podcast on Portland.
We love our city! Glad you enjoyed our video!
Ok! Yall lost me on the "I would never go into haunted house" and the other guy's Covid reference towards being in a haunted house, come on!
😂😂😂 right off the bat we lost you?? Give us a chance!
Thank you for the lovely video! My wife and I are moving from NYC to Portland and we fell in love with the Alberta Arts District. We fell so in love that we bought a house a year before the planned move (in Fall 2024). We're so excited to make the area our home and watching your video brought back all the feels :)
Glad to hear you got value out of it! I'm a NYC transplant myself <3
You Only Review Gay Bars??
Well, none of these bars are gay bars. We have plenty of recs for those too though!
😱 "promo sm"
Loveit
Too bad Portland’s become a liberal hell hole…
you were masking in summer of 2022? Are you still wearing a mask in 2023?
Only those that choose to, or need to. It was still necessary for most of 2022.
Congratulations on your wedding 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Whaaaat, no Laurelhurst or Tabor??? Don’t know how I feel about that 🙃
We love those tooooo!! But we thought they got enough love in our Laurelhurst vid and plus, they're just so obviously amazing.
Back in the 80’s and 90’s you wouldn’t dare go to NE PDX if you were Caucasian.
Great update guys!
Thanks!!! We’re happy to see the market still holding strong!
which of these places have the least amount of homeless and addicts around it?
Portland has had a long and complicated history with supporting marginalized communities including addicts and the homeless. It’s definitely been highlighted moreso lately than in the past! It’s certainly worth acknowledging as a component of our city that needs more time and consideration to resolve but it hardly represents the city as a whole. If you’ve never been here, I’d strongly encourage you to come visit and see for yourself!!!
🤤 'promosm'
Moved from LA full time to Palm Springs just before Covid. What’s not to Love? 🤔 The heat in the summer: that’s when we travel. ( and it’s still better than snow). You look for a local realtor? I’m your guy.
Isn’t everyone a realtor in PS?? 🤣🤣
one of my favorite neighborhoods to shop
Glad to hear it! Us too! What's youre favorite spot over there?
@@pieceofpdx I used to shop at goorin hats before they closed👌and grab lunch at little big burger as well. And the gap outlet👌

Nice video, thanks for the run-through of this cute neighborhood
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful :-) what neighborhood do you think we should do next?
@@pieceofpdx The Hawthorne area would be interesting 🤷🏻♂️
@@MitchellRoman97 great idea!!! Well bump it up our list!
Smh, no mention of the Kellar Auditorium. I had one too many experiences working as an event custodian backstage there. That place has a lot of Jinn activity.
Shut up. I need to know more.
I moved to vancouver from Ohio this year but recently decided to move to the cathedral park area when my lease is up. Nice seeing it on this list. Thanks for the video
We're so glad you got value from our content! We live in University Park and love it here. What made you decide to land in Cathedral Park??
@@pieceofpdx I wanted somewhere where I could walk/ride my bike to everything I needed and honestly my favorite film photography shop “blue moon camera” is a big draw for me. Looking forward to whatever else you post 🤙🏼
@@MitchellRoman97 Awesome- glad to hear you got some good value out of it! I haven't been to Blue Moon yet but I'll have to go check it out! Feel free to text me when you're in the area and I'll give you some great local recs :) 6462010907

1:00 I can relate. I am an Oregonian and have been to several haunted locations; unfortunately I have not had any ghostly experiences. Thank you for the video, you have great content!

Heather from selling sunset is vegan. Oh yeah. That show. The one that ur not making videos about anymore so I’m not watching anymore of your channel now.
I'm glad you loved them! Wish we could make more but we're not sure about copyright law at this time. Hope you'll come back!
THAT CLIENT DOE🤣🤣🤣 🚁
For real!
WHY IS THIS THE LAST SELLING SUNSET VID FROM U. I SUBSCRIBED FOR ONLY SELLING SUNSET. THEN I WILL WATCH UR OTHER VIDS. ONCE U WATCH THE WHOLE SHOW!
I love davina. Yes. The tea was successfully spilled. NOT HIM SAYING GO BACK TO UR HOME THATS POORLY STAGED TO HEATHER
I’m absolutely obsessed
Glad you like it!
He said YOU HIT HARD ON ME 😂
😂
Oh u already did some more. Okay thanks.
Might be time for some more!
React to the rest already 🙄
Apparently we we're behind on the game with this one! 😂
I like the show at first I wasn't sure if it was real but it actually is lot of other realtors said they know them n the brothers r big I watched interviews on them
It's definitely real! I'd just say a lot of the show is smoke and mirrors! 😆
Called Shanghai tunnels because Shanghai China was the most common trade port that ships would sail to from the Columbia River bar, there are also tunnels in Astoria Oregon that were active and used longer than the Portland tunnels. They are open for tours year round BUT Halloween is their busiest times the last couple years. There are MANY potential haunts along the Oregon and Washington coast all the way inland to the I-5 corridor and beyond, hundreds of years of important national history took place along the west coast in general
Thank you for sharing, that's great to know. Hope you enjoyed the video!
I don’t know how you guys don’t have more subscribers! By far the most helpful and lovely videos ❤️ (moving from downtown chicago to Portland in the spring- and using your videos to direct our rental search! When it’s time to buy, we’ll definitely come to you 🥰)
Thanks, Mikaela! So glad you like our channel! We can’t wait to meet you when you touch down in PDX! Let us know if you wanna grab a coffee and connect :)

Thank you for your feedback! :)
@@pieceofpdx They’re right you’re so slow at uploading these 🙄. Rolling eyes twice at u 2. But I love the videos. So don’t.
Laurelhurst doesn't have any shops or apartments per its covenant. Those shown are in the adjacent neighborhood called Kerns.
You’re correct! Oftentimes we will feature adjacent amenities to the area to show people what’s readily accessible to folks interested in the neighborhood. Thanks for watching!
