Mainly a collection of edits I've done for ITN or BBC News. Mainly so I don’t forget what I made or others work I liked I saved.

BBC Points West is the first to try 3G video calling at the Glastonbury Festival in June 2004. Pictures were terrible, audio needed an external speaker and clips were very limited in length. Copyright BBC

Simple Minds stuff up Don't You Forget About Me
3:43 That's Brody Swain, legend of broadcasting, has been with the Beeb for years. Many happy memories of working with him. Life took a turn a long long time ago but I can't remember him reveling his Buzz roots before we hired him at Choice.

Who's the smoking female reporter?
Huh... Didn't notice the subtle differences in the Lunchtime and Early Evening News themes till now. Thanks for this though! This is some of the earliest ITN News titles/themes I can remember from my childhood :)
JESUS CHRIST.
This is a proper news theme...Full of power and beat...Todays news theme is meh.
Used from 1995 until 1999.
Buzz FM was up against it from the start with low power & using a frequency assigned to neighbouring radio stations.
Fab morning show with John and Eddie where are they now??
I remember listening to Buzz Fm and especially the Breakfast show with Eddie Peters and John brilliant presenters wondering why national Station didn't pick them up.

Does anyone what the full length closing theme (Lunchtime, Morning, Early Evening) consisted of? I only heard it once and from memory the first part was in a similar style to a headline bed, with two sets of ITN ‘ident’ style notes then into the main closing theme. Just want to check that’s right. I must have been about 13 when I heard this, I’m now nearly 39 so can’t remember it very well! I do recall that on the Morning News some presenters would end up with a longer closing theme than others. Tim Neilson and Denis Tuohy are two that I remember particularly
+Captainpu... I do remember Denis Tuohy presenting the morning news at 05.30. But thats when i was little and i couldn't sleep. When the newsroom had the blue colour

I love how Alan learned the word Rantallion from the woman at the library in the previous series and is now employing it gleefully in his day to day life.

Afternoon I wish to ask if I can get permission to take a few pics from this video. The pics would be uploaded to the TV live pres website to help expand the ITN news coverage. Your be given full credit I look for ward to your reply. cheers
1:27 I used to think that Trevor McDonald never made mistakes when reading the news as you never saw clips of him fluffing his lines or falling over on IBAOTN - must have banned them from showing them. However, in comes the ITN Christmas tape that proves that Sir Trevor did actually contribute to the blooper reel after all...
Love it! Disabled UK viewer.
