Welcome to my Outdoor Training channel!
My name is Jan, 37 years and I'm passionate since 2001 about Outdoor Power Equipment.
I'm competing in logging championships and my favorite place to work is outdoors.
Here on my channel you can find everything related to Chainsaws, Brushcutters, Hedge trimmers, Power blowers, and many more.
- How to use
- How to service
- Technical backgrounds and explanations
- and last but not least I'll compare different brands in an honest way towards each other.
Do it safer, with the best ergonomics, the highest efficiency and do it outdoors!
This channel is not to take down brands, but to show how good they are. Technical specifications telling something, reality is showing everything.
You can contact me in: English, French, Dutch, Swedish and Spanish.

Very good test, thanks. It's hard to find Black diamond or Terramax here in Croatia.
Were all the strimmer line dry or soaked ahead of use? The nylon lasts longer if its been soaked initially before use
Yes, of course it's standard practice for me to store them in water. :)
Great movie🎉😊
Thank you man 👍
I am definitely going to purchase this trimmer. Great cut-little pricey hope I can catch a sale 🔥🔥🔥
I have the bg86
Thanks for nothing. A very ridiculous video that does not help in anything
Great video crap music !

🎉🎉🎉😊😊
You have the sticks crossed and at 90 degrees to each other. Now what? Stare at the tree and start walking.
Don't worry about using the same number of file strokes on each tooth file each tooth until it forms a burr and that burr drops off then it's sharp.
misleading title and gives no information about storage
👍
You have a very useful channel...thanks!
A very useful video. I used many years the rear handle chainsaw 18", buyed a top handle for the bar length 12"...my wrists will be happy for the 3kg less in weight...but as you said...just when climbing and pruning. Thanks for the recommendations. Now subscribed ❤
Me, a brained hominid that has seen a 2 sided trimmer before: "Okay, but why tho? Can you not afford the second side or something? Because we could start a Go-Fund-Me.. If you think those are wild, wait till you learn about pole trimmers.... Your back will nut on itself."
Single sided hedge trimmers are for people that can afford multiple hedge trimmers. They are much better in certain situations especially models with the leaf scoop as this one has.
Muy didáctico, gracias
Excellent video..❤
Laughable and a waste of everyone’s time 🤦♂️
I'd rather buy a new machine every 3 years with the money I saved by using regular petrol.
What about your health? Replace that every three years too?
I’m personally not going to save a thousand on fuel in three years going out sailing with my 2.5 hp outboard. I only use about 20 liters in a season And I enjoy it more, no smell and the engine works more stable, with regular A98 you can see how strong it shoots water out, probably course ethanol explodes with a different pressure-braking a small engines ☝️ That is another issue I see here
Terrible instructions. People know what to do but need clearer pictures on the settings . Quick flash of the position without showing the actual settings wasted my time
For evertone saying its to fast simple slow the videos down 😂
Gibt es eine altersbeschränkung?🤔
Excellent video. Really shows the differences that matter. Jan, does the Echo engine ever break-in well enough to run as smooth as the Still? Although the Still is smaller displacement, you can see and hear how much better it runs. I ask because I just replaced my MS-170 with a CS-352 and the Echo sounds slow and unsophisticated compared to the hot rod 170.
Who makes that equipment belt you have?
I have 3 pairs of saw pants I need to clean. I’m hoping the fibres aren’t too messed up from the oils. Brusher ones n the forestry so I’m constantly needing ways to clean up my pants
SENZA ALCUN SENSO
Comon Ireland lets di our bit
Finally someone thst doesnt just lubes the head and calls it a tutorial
Brilliant 👀🤔….will it fit in my green waste wheel bin 👀🤔
you are stealing somebody's content apparently
I have an echo CS310 it"s a poc.
What grease do I need to get?? I used just all purpose grease which has some lithium in it. Perhaps I put the wrong stuff in. And now have to clean it out. The kind I put in says it’s rated up to 535F. It’s an G200 EP from Airtec.
This vid is helpful, but you have to turn the volume off. Constructive criticism, no disrespect; lose the background noise. The addition of distracting, monotonous & annoying music subtracts from the video.
Hey, what is in your opinion the better erconomic saw? The msa 220 or the 535i xp?
Why use two different stance to cut during comparison? What are the strokes count for each saw since the movement was not in sync.
Very bad. The video is too fast. How can a person learn?😢
Pathetically misleading video that discredits anything else from watching a Jan Mae video.
What cleaner did you use to clean this - Dawn dish soap?
I got the echo today want the Stihl but the store that sold the Stihl was closed. I'm pleased with the echo
I would've waited, but that's just me. The 170 is a great saw
Superbe vidéo 📹 merci pour ce comparatif au top
Which way do the concave washers gets installed??? Pretty critical step.. But you'd rather have sad music then actually explain the steps.. Pathetic video
Great video, distracting music.
Just The Video I Was Looking For. Thanks 👍👍
Best felling demo I've found. Hobbyist here and have learned enough to hurt myself but hopefully not kill myself. I've never seen anyone use the sap cut and then mark the vertical line for the hinge depth. Brilliant!
Instead of playing stupid music why don't you explain what you doing and your thoughts? Fail.
WTF kind of video is this.
DId all of them are the same size?
Hard startin
