they wanted us to believe that nini and ricky were the troyella parallel but rini was nothing like troyella. rini knew each other since kindergarten and already had history before the play whereas rina is exactly like troyella. gina a girl who is constantly moving and never gets a chance to make friends and is new to east high (just like Gabriella) ricky a guy who has lived in salt lake forever and has never stepped out if his label as the "skater boy" and never tried theatre (like Troy the "Basketball guy"). rina tells each other things they can't tell anyone else like troyella. things they don't even tell their partners or best friends.
