I love these clips, the odd few buildings still stand today but the towns a far cry from this 1962 footage sadly

We enjoyed watching this latest video. The Lomeshaye sheltered houses were of particular interest and some of the shops - a far cry from todays town centre. Then you could go window shopping of an evening now you would be hard pressed to find any shops to look at. The ladies in Andrew Smith's made us smile - they were all wearing aprons. Thanks for the memories.
