The closure of Salón Canning (December 2022) is the result of the extreme polarization in the milonga environment in Buenos Aires. This is thee result of that many lesb and gay milongas, feminazi culture and demonization of closeD embrace, demonization of traditional roles, elegant clothes and shoes, demonization of cabeceo, apilado, etc. Several other venues are in trouble too for very similar reasons. Notably Lo de Celia and Gricel. We will see in 2023. In the mean time milongas are flourishing in Europe. Do they want to follow?
