Hi.NO-ONE has kept the Law, (except Jesus) because it requires perfection. The Law was meant to show us we're sinners and need a Saviour. AFTER we're saved, the Holy Spirit changes us and helps us to do good and lead Christian lives. I've covered the "sin as much as you like" and "orgies" argument in the video. Blessings :)

Hi - Thanks for watching the video and - good thought provoking comment. I agree with you to the extent, that our Christianity should be making a difference to the way we live. But - Looking at this verse with "New Testament Glasses", (New Testament Dispensation only started when Jesus went to the Cross), I would see it as - "It's not worth rejecting Jesus as Saviour, because you enjoy your sin too much". Saying that, we can never become perfect in this life, so where do we "draw the line" to define having enough goodness to become a Christian? Also - Jesus in His Teachings, was "raising the bar" concerning the Law, to show that no-one could keep it - thus need a Saviour (ie Rich Young Ruler) - If you have anger in your heart, it's as bad as murder, etc. Christians still sin, although we should be intentional about moving from sin, to serve Jesus. If you could sin away your salvation (ie future sins not forgiven from a salvation point of view), there's no benefit in Salvation by Grace through Faith, and you would have to become a Christian every five minutes. In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul was talking about "... fornicators not entering the kingdom of heaven... and such WERE some of you", even though they were still in sin. Paul was very strong in his rebuke to the Corinthians for their carnality, but he never warned them about losing their salvation. So - Future sins are forgiven from a SALVATION point of view, but God will still rebuke us for future sinful behaviour. It's His Discipline towards His Children, as with the Corinthians for disregarding the Communion. If someone says, "I can sin as much as I like", I would question if they were ever saved in the first place, but with the best will in the world, we still sin after we become Christians. Hopefully, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will sin less, and produce good works as a result of Salvation, but not to keep it. Blessings.

None of us deserve Heaven, but Jesus made it possible, and wants us all in. We have to say "yes" to Him and His Salvation. It's a free gift. :)

God's got a message that He loves all and wants all to be saved through Jesus, and know His Goodness. As believers, we need to pass that message onto others. Blessings. :)

God can see the future, as He exists outside of time - but I believe He wants ALL to be saved, and Jesus died for all. We need to accept His gift of Salvation and Eternal Life (as we reach the age/ ability of accountablility). Bless you.

There is a mystery about God's ways and his Election/ Choosing. I like to think of it as God existing outside of time. You still have a free choice to respond to Salvation when enlightened by the Holy Spirit - even though God can see beforehand what your free response will be. I believe once you say "yes", God keeps you saved through the discipline of His Children - and your free will is subject to a window - as with Jonah when he disobeyed God - and God disciplined the Corinthians for not respecting the Communion. In a negative way, we can see how God used Judas in His plan for Jesus to go to the Cross, knowing what Judas' own disposition was (he stole from the disciples' fund earlier). Hi. Must admit, I had to look up the two words. Sounds like the monergist gives all the Glory to God. I would agree with that and say God First enables man to repent and believe through the Enlightening of the Holy Spirt. Man still has to say "yes", and receive the Gift of Eternal Life through Jesus. It's all God's Merit through Jesus and His Glory. We just have to accept it. I've got a few other "normal" videos on my channel relating to "Once Saved Always Saved" and the Calvinist/ Arminian topic in more detail. Blessings :)

I agree with that. Works are still important, because God wants us to lead good lives, even though getting to Heaven is purely on the basis of what Jesus has done. :)

The Holy Spirit shows us the way forward in a POSITIVE way - need to repent, believe in His Grace, etc, to move forward with God. The Devil's words are just negative - "you're no good- God wouldn't want you, etc." with no way forward - except obeying lots of laws (to perfection), which we can't do. After we receive God's Grace, we lead better lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. :)
