A great video and brilliant campervans, Would you in the future perhaps design a solid sided pop top roof something like the redtail skyloft campervan roof I saw on a UA-cam video

I'm not sure I've ever come across a high top pop top before, great innovation as usual! 👌😊

Interesting video. We have an Autosleeps Symbol which we use virtually all year and I did wonder if the cold would come through the pop top in your van. We were in Perthshire a few weeks ago and it was -3C but we were toasty. Glad you could allay fears that the pop roof doesn't let the cold air in.

I dithered quite a lot about pop top or high top, the one thing Richard didn't mention is that a high top like this is just more weather/windproof, you could basically camp in a gale although it'd be a bit wobbly 😊

I love this van. Just wish I could afford one. That’s not to say that you’ve not made it great value. The quality also looks incredible.

Fabulous camper. We saw it at the Shepton Mallet show a month or so back. Think it would work for us both and our 2 Whippets. Very impressed

We own a Autocampers van conversion when it comes to storing the table it fits to the sliding side door which is so convenient other than that yours is a cracking van

Looks great, the front of your roof has a nice aerodynamic shape. Nice to know you are a converter who considers doing jobs like this. Does this mean that the vehicle can now be classed as a motorcaravan by the DVLA?

Love the micro camper, Fiat do the scudo on a 5.3 meter van, can you get the same layout in there as the Ducato with the rear kitchen and electric loo?

Hi we also have a Hillside Birchover with a 100w panel. Would you mind contacting me with a very rough idea of the price for a similar setup to this please, and the cost of an inverter (mainly for charging an e-bike but also general use) as we’re usually off grid in the north of Scotland. PS also loved the high top conversation you did on another Hillside recently. Thanks very much.

Just had a failed 160w panel replaced by Rich - massive difference with the new 270w panel. Even on a duller day it is pumping out a lot more power.

Oo an inverter, yes that's a brilliant idea as quite a few people have separate power packs at the moment to be fully off grid with! 👌😊

So pleased with the work Richard and the team have done here. Their ideas and attention to detail have resulted in a conversion that way exceeds our expectations. Would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone thinking of having some work done on their campervan.

Looks fantastic. I really like the two tone cupboards with the linked trim and catches. It looks lovely and smart and airy. I'm likely to be in touch with you about my own Hillside Birchover! (And I think one or two others from the Hillside Owner's Group will be too!)

Amazing vans at competitive prices with after sales like you wouldn't believe! For instance last summer we were having a nightmare in Barcelona with the heat wave and our water pump fuse blew, Richard kindly talked us through it on the phone as our brains were too frazzled in the heat 👍🍻😊

Have to say this was the best upgrade, we have multiple mozzy repellents/catchers in the van but this keeps the blighters out entirely 😊

It does test you, the rain!!! 😊 Our favourite wet weather pursuits when on site are pass-the-pig, cards or if we give up entirely we'll dig out the screen and projector for a movie 👍
