A beautiful soul that deserved to have a beautiful song. I tried to capture her energetic love of life and eternal optimism. I only hope I came close. RIP Pamella, your shining light will be deeply missed.

We enjoyed covering this classic. We did change the key to A minor.

I was there and it was the 1st time I saw Joe. I was speechless for a while because I have never heard someone play with so much soul and it hit me!
Beautiful. RIP Will Jennings.
fenomeno tio grande joe
You were right behind us in the top right of the ryman
One of my favorite songs❤!
Thanks for the share Winston. What a great night this had to be. Rest in Peace Michael Rhodes, one of the legends of bass of all time. PS, I think Joe's current band lineup is the best he's ever had. To replace Michael on Bass was no easy challenge, but Joe found a real winner. Again thnaks, and Cheers
Beautiful !
Thank you! I agree, Joe’s band is one of the best he has ever had.
God bless him! Thank him for his service! Never forget ''The Greatest Generation''
i played this song for my dads birthday, we were laughing are ass off
🥰
I love your video because I am learning is song in school and I learned a lot in your video thank you
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
64, ce n'est pas la fin du monde. ce serait 100 ans au moins non ?
Making fun of old People. Really?
Great video - but, I'm about to turn 68 - and my singing voice sounds like it did at 28. Can't swing my guitar arm like Pete Townsend anymore - but, 64 in the year 2022 is nothing like it was in the 1960s. Seniors here in Southern California are often active right into their 80s. You just need to eat right and exercise moderately an hour every day. We're not DEAD, yet!
Played a recording of me performing a '90s Christian Hard Rock song for my pastor. He, asked, "So this was you singing 30 years ago?" "No, pastor, I recorded it yesterday". He almost fell off his chair!
Very true. Keep playing music as long as you can.
Bons cascadeurs ?
Fortunately the new 64 is 54 so I still got it, pickleball keeps my balance stronger. Still funny to watch.
Loved it. Still laughing.
Beautiful video ,now I'm 64 I can see a lot of myself in this.
On voulait changer le monde.. Il a changé tout seul
Ils se moquent des vieux ! Un jour, ce sera ton tour!
Come to be the children....ha ha ha
J'adore!
Mon frère m'a rappelé qu'on devrait devenir centenaires...
This'll be me tomorrow! Hello 64!
Cool 😎
J'ai dépassé ma date de péremption.
Bravo !
i heard raped vertions of song before but this guy be awared a cake
Спасибо, мне сегодня 64, когда был молод песня воспринималась по другому, девчонок в танце прижимали сильнее
А мне сегодня .

64 year old body but still 14 soul
I m juste 48 Years old but i m fond of Beatles, si i Say yes!!
I hope i grow old like these folks having fun❤️❤️🇵🇭😂🤣
I song and performance is great ,but I see the video as nothing but an insult and mocking.
My husband just turned 63 yesterday.
Ya voy llegando a esa edad creo que va se de la mejor 👍
I'm 64 today and my wife posted this for me. 😅 Actually- some of this rings true!
He was a heck of a man enjoy your day ..this week ..month..year..enjoy your life
Happy birthday..it would a been my bros b.day
Wow I like very much this song!!
Thanks!!!!
Welcome Sir
Epic fails XD
at 64 so much has changed , i will take 1969 forever
Wow! I'm going 64 next year. I should sing this song with my wife and she will be 60 next year. Its good to remind us seniors, we think we can still do it but our body is weak.
Very true. I'm extra careful these day.
I'm already 64 and what I find most ironic is remembering this song from when it was released .... when I was 10!
I'm 65 and I still ride my motorcycle, drive my restored 79 Trans Am, that I bought when I was 22, and I am the fixit member of the family when something breaks. Most of those people in the video are in their 80's. I still move around like I was in my 20's. I'm sure when I'm in my 80's, I'll be like these people. Paul is going on 80 and still touring. Maybe he should have call this song "When I'm 84"? Lol.
Me too next year
@@mgonzales56 Thank You! It's largely a matter of ATTITUDE. If you think you're old - you'll act like it. Granted, sometimes my balance acts up a bit - but, I can still sing T-Rex's "Bang A Gong" with balls - and nobody can tell it was a 68 year-old who recorded it . . . They think I'm 90 (lol).
I'm turning 64 tomorrow and I see nothing funny about any of this now😧
I do but I'm only 62 11/12th
Brothers birthday today Sending this 😂👍
That is wht actually happens "Balance,Awful" My balance was not good at 15 because I have multiple sclerosis but When I turned 64 we played this sir's 64 for me and today in hubbys 64 and he had 3 thus far from this gent. for his 64th. I subscribed this man is great with his videos. Cheers 'ol boy
I'm glad you like the video. I have a little balance issue myself.
I remember a Van Halen album Balance.
Oh no! Old people were hurt in these videos. Don't watch! It's terrifying!
love the song :D
They actually look a bit older than 64. Perhaps 74. Lovely video.
Hope you're right. I'll be 64 tomorrow and I'm not doing anything like these folks in the video.
Agree!!
64 for the nineties 84 today

Good Choice!
+WBC Thanks, I rememeber you guys did a great cover of Cold Turkey a few years ago.
Awesome video and song!
Pamela Smotherman Thanks!!!!
Hello. You don't know be but I briefly played music with Bryan Compton. I recently got news of his passing and after doing some research online I found you! Just thought I would say sorry for your loss. I wished I was successful in getting into contact with him. I tried back in 2012-2013 but because of his closed ways, he never responded to my messages or anything. Oh well. Glad to have known him. Sorry to see him go so soon. Was he in bad health?
He was a very talented musician and one of my favorite cousins. I'm pretty sure he had developed heart problems in recent years. His death was a complete shock because he was so active, and looked very healthy. Thanks for your sympathy. I think about him all the time and wish I could have visited him more.
Thank you for that video! I loved it! Those animals are so adorable. I have to go there sometimes. I love listening to you do your baby talk to the animals. You're hilarious! Glad you had a good time.
Listen to the distracting click beat they put over the whole song.
