Throwing the anchor is genereally considered unnecessary. There's a chance you can drive it into the boat if you bugger the throw. Beautiful boat, video and trip though :-)

Great video! Proves that no matter what size of boat, you can find adventure anywhere! People doubt that any boat smaller than a 32' can safely sail to the bahamas. But I disagree. I own an O'day 27 and it has managed very well through storms and great cruising! Again, super vid...thanks for posting it.

i don't know but it looks to me from the efforts she is putting in turning the tiller that the boat has to be unbalanced. I had a similar boat and I used to handle the tiller with my fingertips, in fact I had a tiller extension 4' and the same, very smooth and easy, and this one was a 6,000 27' sloop.

at minute 0:42, those are the best looking and most comfortable looking cushions i've ever since, and i've been around boats since i was 8 years old. i took a pic and i'm going to have some build for me for my new sailboat i'm building. that's a nice video, happy and uplifting.
