Delayed plans resulted in me postponing a trip to Union I planned earlier that morning, so I went to Harrison instead. This wasn’t a big trip, and overall these videos were pretty disappointing.

is the MTA thinking about discontinuing this route?
As far as I know, no. As underutilized as this route is, it serves as an accessibility link because the current Delancey-Essex Streets station is not.

Not gonna lie, the NY Metro Area had some pretty nasty and ugly weather that day. Anyway, this was a great video. It was cool to see two of the heritage units (NYC and Conrail).
Thanks! I actually saw 217 as well, off-camera. It really did rain that day. I left when the rain got super intense.
That one sounded normal, compared to the distorted and drunk sounding chimes of MBTA subway (Boston).

For everyone complaining about the camera swinging: I often times have my phone brightness down very low to conserve battery, and can’t sometimes see what I’m filming. I apologize for any excess camera swinging.
Why are you rapidly swinging the camera from one side to the other, over and over again? I had to stop after 1 minute.

Nice station, I enjoyed the tour. I only saw trains on the timetable for today on google maps. Why do you say you are a “foamer?” That is a derogatory term that railroaders call railfans.
