Scott Boutelle! I too saw the Floyd in Detroit. Olympia Stadium. Home of one of the greatest hockey players to this day. Geordie Howe. They would get the sound swirling. Large pieces of plaster were falling off the ceiling. That place was vibrating and shaking like crazy. Thousands of watts pumped through the speaker system. They had 10 Bose 901’s on stage for personal sound system on stage. Then went to see them in Hamilton. Get this: 8.50$ to get in. Another 20$ for a bus ride from Devonshire Mall to Ivor Wynn Stadium. That is a whole nudder story. That shit changed my life. I was 17. Me and Bill. Joe is that you? Hi. Hi.

@@nickb1252 You tube has the Pink Floyd June 28 1975 Ivor Wynn Stadium , Hamilton Canada with excellent audio. I was there ,it was a warm, clear, early summer evening, perfect atmosphere made for a fantastic show. Pink Floyd were at the top of their game. Yes, tickets were $8.50.

Well not everybody back then was like Mike Millard. You're going to get a mix of different sounding boots depending on various things. This one isn't even near the worst I've heard tbf.

@@nickb1252 camera security was a thing then, hard to get in and unless you had something above average wouldn't get a very good picture. I didn't see the Pink Floyd light show but Blue Oyster Cult had one and it was unbelievable. There weren't any rules about them at the time and they were able to project stuff out into the crowd, it looked one way if you were facing the stage and completely different if you would turn around. My understanding is OSHA stepped in after a year or so and a lot of the light shows like that we're gone in a heartbeat. I don't know if it's true or not but there was a rumor about bands being sued for damaging audience members eyes with the lasers

I remember the Seattle police, on horseback, patrolling the crowd outside. Walking in, and then the mushrooms kicked in. Amazing concert. Had no idea this recording existed...
