The Reserves travelled for revenge after being knocked out by our hosts in the cup last sixteen and hoped to inflict the first double of the season after a 7-1 win earlier in the season
It didn't take long to get oil front when Gary slotted past the keeper after great work from Antonio Kernot-Turner.
The siege carried on with a few forays of attacks from M&T who troubled the back line a few times but in essence it was a game of chances that Spartans didn't take until a few minutes from the end when Kai Lloyd slammed in a second after a goal-mouth scramble from a corner.
