It has grown so much but in a good way I think. The downtown is even more nicer. Love the Woodstock Rd in particular. My best to you!

NEW BRUNSWICK SUX... TOO TAXING and TOO EXPENSIVE.. A mobile home is over 300,000 a Two bedroom rental is more than 1500 bux.. But it is beautiful and yes there plenty to do.. But it is too expensive now with rents and mortgages being on par now in 2023 with other provinces. Trust me i am looking. No discredit to you Jen. I actually love your videos very informative. Since the conservative government helped out their business buddies removed rent control, rents are now out of control land lords can put up rents by however much they want. OHHH and HEALTH CARE SUX - if you don't have a family doctor forget about it your SCREWED. The government overwhelmed the clinics with paper work and since then they don't want to do some services because it takes too much time - they are closing. IN MONCTON these are the harsh realities. I have a beautiful condo here in moncton, maybe if i go to sell i will get in contact with you gen. my friend owns a home and his mortgage went up by over 300 a month - NEW BRUNSWICK TAXES THE HELL OUT OF YOU... For example you if you buy a vehicle you are taxed on the original purchase then if you sell the same vehicle you are taxed again on the sale..

So often, I see posts from Canadians who want to move to Costa Rica (where I live now), but literally every price you just showed here is CHEAPER in Canada, except for the lettuce. 1kg of cheddar, for example, is about $20 in Costa Rica ($5 more than Fredericton). All of the meat is cheaper in Canada. All of the berries are cheaper in Canada. Crazy... People want to move here because the lettuce is expensive this winter 🤣🤣🤣 Meanwhile, we are moving back because living here has become unaffordable and you don't get even close to the services offered by Canada.

Lived there in the late '60s. Dad had a store downtown (Fitrite clothing) right across from the Kent Department store. Still beautiful and quiet. Danny's burgers and Nigadoo falls. Thanks for taking us back..
