Hi Chris, good for you son, I myself smoked a lot of marijuana over the years as well as crack cocaine now a days I am a bit more chilled out.
Hi Chris. Your message needs to be heard. Nature spent 500 million years evolving the most complex living thing in the universe, the human brain, and then we go throw chemical spanners in its works. We need our brains to survive, "weed" is the path to extinction. Cheers, P.R.
My Hole opened up.
What 4 sum weed😂
I’m on a tolerance break due to my job’s nature (seaman) and I can say that from a daily basis smoker to a no smoker (although I smoke cigs) I can’t say that I see a big difference on myself. Although I’m not craving even as a daily smoker there were days that I didn’t have buds to smoke and I was fine with it. I cannot understand why people have to say that cannabis made them something else from who they were and how stopping it made them better ?
It is true, perception changes in a good way after stoping weed, but excitement doesn't least long. After few months you realise that nothing has been changed at all, it was just a transition effect from being high to being sober. It happens vice versa, too; when you smoke a joint after longer period of soberity, it all feels different and nice, but it all eventualy fades away if you start again smoking regulary. It is not weed that it is problem here. It is our mind. We are always the same persons, high or sober, everything else is pure illusion of "self". Moderation is the key to balanced living. A discipline. If you abuse weed, you will be abused by weed. Even soberity can be toxic in many ways. It is all the same shit. Do what you like, but do it Conscioussly and with Respect.
Exposing normally at 1600 iso and 400 iso will have vastly different results.
Yes yin and yang
Time for a positive change!!
I hope you bought it after the price drop
hey brotha what lens do you suggest for using on the RED Komodo for real estate considering the crop factor?
Thank you for this man. Much appreciated❤️
Nice! How much recording time do you get on a 1TB card on the Red?
Depends on your quality settings.
Mr. Chris I'm 13 and I seriously want to talk to you. Im not a weed addict or something its something else. Check your email
Thanks I love how you showed us the exact technique of getting the perfect drop by editing out the way to adjust the flycam to get that perfect drop
Weed won't kill you, but it'll likely to turn you into a Zombie. I'm not here to judge others as I know some people who can smoke first-thing in the morning and throughout the day and be productive. For me, I realized I'm not my best self while smoking. I get really bad brain fog and not as sharp. I'm less charismatic and social as well.
Nice video. I hope you enjoyed my blogpost about the komodo ;-) This is my current Komodo setup: ua-cam.com/video/vhMYcSth87o/v-deo.html
I have been smoking pot since age 14. I was abused as a very young child and as a result of that, I never felt comfortable in my own skin. Weed was a way to fit in and I got hooked bad. So now I am age SIXTY! 46 years of self medicating. About a half a gram a day! I'm on day 3 and so far my only real complaint is my stomach is quite nauseous. I guess it did not help that I played golf both days this weekend in 100 degree heat! lol. But the cravings have been pretty easy to deal with. I just keep focusing on ALL the positives: I can already breathe better Blood pressure returning to normal No worries about law enforcement Better relationship with my wife By the time I end thinking about the positives and the craving is gone. A couple of things that I feel are helping me: Epsom salt bath EVERY day-draws toxins out Ginger Ale-for the stomach upset Last thing is a little weird: I recently got a SNORE Guard at my dentist. This has really helped my sleeping and I heard insomnia is a major issue. The snore guard has helped and I am sleeping quite well and I k ow for that sleeping will only get better. Anyway, I am looking forward to hitting the one week mark because from everything I read, that is when the initial WD symptoms start to go away. In conclusion, on day 3, I really feel great and from reading all the comments, I am coping better than most. But if you are struggling, try some of things I mentioned. Peace y'all!
I would def smoke a j and enjoy that view too
How do you connect iphone to red?
Quit cold turkey in March after over a decade of daily smoking, which had evolved into dabbing oil concentrates throughout the day. It was a hard habit to quit, but (like you state at 3:25) I felt my emotions after about a week, started to dream again (vividly) by 14 days, and uncovered suppressed emotions and baggage and realized mental health concerns I’d been oblivious to myself living with because I was always in a “high” suppressed state 24/7. Best decision I made in my life, though I’d say no one can tell anyone to quit, each person has to want it for themselves like any sobriety/addiction battle. Thanks for sharing your experience. I liked seeing your similarities in what I experienced too and additional things that I hadn’t considered.
Im the type of person who smokes weed on and off. I Have periods where i smoke every day for about a week, then take a break for a month or so, or even the opposite depending on how much i get, I only smoke because i truly enjoy it, not to smoke my feelings away, i have therapy for that, i just like the feeling of getting stoned for a while, but i take breaks to help me keep productive and live my life normally while also enjoying something i love. I appreciate your perspective and i agree with everything you are saying, I just have a different perspective, im glad you are dealing with your emotions better now and i understand why you quit, Im gonna keep smoking (On and off/every once and a while) because i enjoy it, i may stop for a couple months, but I like weed, it makes me feel better. (For context i started in grade 8 in a very Cannabis positive household and my perspective may be skewed quite a bit, im sorry if you disagree.)
Chris I’m loving seeing you on UA-cam. God bless my friend I wish you the best.
It's true
Why did you start?
Watch the frickin video
Thanks Chris. Hitting a bit of a rut here at age 32. Been smoking on and off since 16, but I think it's time to try stopping. Appreciate the perspective here
Good for you Nate! You got this
Is this the Red Komodo X or The OG 6k ?
OG 6K
@@chriiswilson I’m thinking about investing in a Red Raven 4.5k. It’s recently hit a price point I can live with.
Day 83 for and its a totally different life for me
Keep up the good work!
what did you shoot this video with?
Canon 90D
@@chriiswilson looks great I like the softness of it
@@Donotcareabyouropinionthank you! I’m using a 1/8 black pro mist filter that must be what you’re seeing and liking. It really softens the image. I made a video on it!

Day 3 of infinity ♾️🩷🤞🏾
Dulls my emotions, physically feel tired and can’t focus. Triggered psychotic episodes, full of anger, irritability and paranoia. Made my ADHD worse and etc - need I go on? It’s high time I quit this thing and I’ve tried multiple times to quit, today I’m on day 2+ and I feel good.
That’s great keep up the good work your future self will thank you!
Did you fall back into the rabbit hole or what?
Makes so so much sense. Thank you brother for bringing this valuable insight to those who need it. Keep up the good work, cheers.
Well said mate 👍
Great video, I just picked up a komodo and was wondering if anyone uses their phone as a screen reliably.
Yes the RED app is so good. Make sure to set the Komodo to 5hz vs 2.4hz for faster connection
Yes plus you can change the video live quality level through the redcontrol app as well if your connection is bad too.
thanks man , am from Angola and I always prefer compact and funcional rigs , am using a R7 canon but pretending to upgrade to a Komodo next year
if you can see it you can achieve it!
I subscribed you too
That was a calm and gentle review. It would be nice to include some spectacular examples of the work you produce with this rig.
I appreciate your feedback! I will be making more videos in the future about this camera and showing off some of the work I do. Cheers!
Thank you for this perspective!
Thanks for watching!
Day 22, very doable
Damn so inspiring, meanwhile from the age of 12 I had no appetite all day due to severe depression and cannabis was the only thing that cured me. I guess one mans trash is another mans treasure. I would never willingly put the suicidal thoughts and body pains and aches into my life on purpose, no I think Ill stick with Gods plant medicine.
💯🗣️
Cheers
Great content 🔥
I want to quit but im struggling to quit. Weed can be a hard drug in long term. I got paranoia, hearing voices. I needed to take medication to stop the voices. and I keep smoking weed, put me in a big depression, i wanted only smoke all day doing nothing, because of that I lost my job, Im now an unemployed. I ruin my life because of weed, now I need to stop but unfurtantly I keep relapse over and over, like a circle I cant escape! sad
U can do it man don't stop trying
@@freedomcanada8397 thanks bro. Today is my frist day without it. Im wasting money that I cant waste, im low budget. I need wake up and fix myself. Will be hard but I can do it. 👍
@@paulosousa5870How is it going buddy? Hope you're doing good.

thank you for making this video

Thanks for sharing!!
Great 💙💙💙 video. Thank you for sharing🙏🏽😘
Thanks for watching!
I quit hash 2 weeks ago, the withdrawal was really hard the first 3 days (i did it cold Turkey), and step by step i i felt a biter better every day. I noticed the same benefits as you. about the emotions, the budget, the rediscovery of simple things. I'm happy for you that you had the will and courage to stop. wish all the best.
Give it 7 days that’s all it takes he is 100% right if you are thinking weed is holding you back in life just try stopping for 1 week don’t think about completely stopping because it feels unrealistic but after the withdrawals/cravings go away it feels like you woke up from a dream and you are truly living your life almost like as if you are a kid again it’s truly a beautiful thing that I wish more people were aware of.
wow this is the exact same way I felt. like waking up from a dream and being a child again.
i stopped last monday and since i stopped i have just been super down and havent felt like doing anything and i've had bad sleep and loss of appetite do you know when i will feel better i was smoking alot since november like everyday and i just want to feel normal and better and not feel so down
@@whalioo1005how are you doing! I’m trying to stop the thc vapes. I can feel it now hurting my lungs
U right
@@whalioo1005 Give yourself 3 months. If you have smoked for a long period of time, it's going to take real long, but you will fight it. Just get a sweat at least 1 time a day, run, swim, lift. Cold showers after your physical exercises. Eat a lot of veggies and fruits + berries. And of course drink a lot of water. No screentime after 8pm, just read books. No social media (this must be strict). After couple weeks this will become your routine and after 3 months you should start feeling better. If not, just keep doing all these things and you'll be rewarded by your organism.
You seem so refreshed and full of life. Just at peace. I want that feeling. I need to quit today
youre not doing any good and u shouldnt be smoking everyday its should be like once a month not everyday like stoners
then u would feel refreshed its like alchahool u wouldnt wanna be drunk all the time
