Honestly i love Shenhe's story for how her condition is treated. Obviously, the curse is a stand in for a severe mental health issue (and the trauma with her father and the god not helping) and the ropes are clearly ment as treatment. Now, her is where Hoyoverse where Hoyoverse really nailed it: 1: The ropes are only treatment, not a magical solution to "fix" her, meaning the curse stays part of her. It's kinda like medication, there are side effects, Shenhe has to keep wearing them and its clearly stated (and somewhat shown) that there is a limit how much they can do. So Shenhe still needs to live with the curse and needs effort and help. 2: Despite this, Shenhe is not villified but instead her struggle to reintegrate into human society is shown in a good light. This is something that media likes to do. Using mental healt problems to make a character evil and there was (and kinda still is to some extend) a time where media even liked to spit on the idea of therapy and treatment, like even needing it would already be a moral failure. So to see that Shenhe's story is shown that she can be a part of human society and is getting help from Ganyu, Chef Mao and Bird Mom is really great.

Pretty cool. I haven't seen anyone else make these points.
