Watching you remove the film rewind threaded and spanner notched part was painful. Mine removed easy though the compression washer fell to the workspace.

Hi, I have the EF 100-300mm f5.6L and the front element removal is identical. However the middle group where you have to remove the three little screws. There are no screws 300L...so how does this first element come out ,please? I only need to remove this one element as underneath has fungus.

Wrong model my friend. You have a Canon Demi EE28 here (2.8 lens, selenium cell). The EE17 is a 1.7 lens with CdS cell.

In your vid timed 1:50 you try to open the screws on lens body. What is the size and type of the screw driver. It must be JIS, but for sure it is not the #00. Could you please tell me type and size of the screw driver.. Thanks

I'm trying to remove the top cover of a Canon ever and the flash pc socket seems to be preventing it's removal. Do you know how to do this please? Does the pc socket have to be unscrewed or prided out somehow. Many thanks

hi, i know you might now be fixing camera anymore, but have you ever encounter a DX code problem on a PnS? I have 2 mju zoom that have problems with DX code reading. If i cover the DX pin or film with no dxcode then it would work. But if i put film with DX code inside, it will show as E and does not recognise the film at all even if it takes the film in already
