Sunken Lib Anatomist Fight with Comments
Here's my Sunken Library fight from my first anatomist run. Footage from this fight was used for my guide. I added color commentary over the video to explain some of my choices and have a little fun. This is a great example of how you can approach this fight. Refer back to the Guide video for links to other fight examples on youtube. Good luck and have fun!

Battle Brothers Sunken Library Fight Guide - 2022
Переглядів 5 тис.2 роки тому
Welcome to the Sunken Library 2022 guide, timestamps below if you want to skip around. Goal of the guide is to give a big overview of the fight, preparation strategies, and fight tactics. I want to get first time Library players to have a successful fight and veteran players a few nuggets to try out. This is the way I like to approach the fight, I’ll link other sunken library fights below so yo...
man ive listened to the full thing, still couldnt understand, do you want to purposefuly not to kill jars right away cuz it gives buffs to enemies or something?
Thanks for the watch/listen! Yes, if you start killing jars the fight starts to speed up. There is a "Hidden clock" so to speak where each turn the enemies have a higher chance of using more powerful moves (mainly the lorekeeper). When you kill jars that clock starts to advance quicker. My strategy is to control the battlefield in the first couple turns and get my guys positioned to deal with the more advanced stages of the battle like the ghost images, resurrections, and changing elevations. You can't wait too long though as the fight will just start to progress to the hard stages naturally. Some players can just jump right in and pop jars right off the bat. Totally viable as well, just think you need to be a very experienced layer to pull that off or have a really stacked group. I also like making guides or videos from the frame of how would I teach past me so there is a bit of my own bias there haha. If you're not playing iron man, make a save, and take some reps. I'll play through as my normal go and accept the consequences, then just reload that old save and practice or try some different tactics for fun. Good luck! (I do have my raw footage if you want to watch that, I did a little commentary over it but I'm pretty new to doing that so my comments are a bit clunky)
Excellent guide
Thank you
Wonderful video. One more thing I’d like to add, and this is just my intuition / inference from how the game might be coded, ai treats the Jars as though they are ancient priests. Honor guard will be protective of the jars like the priests, but also dogs will target the jars very well naturally as they are trained to target backline enemies
Thanks for tje assist in that
I did it . lost a tank but whatever i have a spare
Well done! It's a tough fight and that's not a bad trade. Messed up recording another run where I lost a tank in the fight. Would have been nice to show some footage of dealing with adversity
@@crog2003 i was playing lategame peasant militia . Had my god bro doubleteamed into breaking for about 6-7 rounds. That loss of dps on his side of the map( i spilt into 3 teams top main and bottom ) lead to my now dead tank being stuck agains 5 ancients that somehow kept hitting him even with 70 md tried a bunch of stuff with my thrower ranged bros . 1rst holy water useless a single 2h hammer/flail swing deals more then 4 rounds of this 2. Fireboms good agains the priest klump to seperate them and then engage with my 4 tanks while keeping the priest on the run with a twohander. 3. Archer because he was way better then my leftover thrower . worked out as a long range skull sniper. Just asking can the militia even get the event for the daze shield or perk pots?
@@hansmuller8762 Yup the Militia origin can still get it according to the wiki. You would just have a % chance to trigger the trade black book event and you don't need to have a brother with the mad trait. Moral can be a real issue in this fight because the liche will hammer you with fear. Liberal use of lionheart potions is never a bad call. Interesting point about the fire bomb. I've been thinking about maybe doing a part 2 with some little tips and tricks. I personally don't like archers because everything (including the jars) has resistance to arrow damage. I found the sling works almost as good for killing skulls, has infinite ammo, and it benefits from throwing mastery. Of course if you have an archer and you want to use him, go for it! I love to experiment personally
A well designed death trap.
I walked into this fight with No knowledge. I almost lost all my boys but walked away with no deaths 😎😎😎
Well done! It can still be tough fight even with good prep work. Glad you had success
Just beat it yesterday for the first time. To be fair my guys were 350 days and pretty tough but it was still relatively challenging. Thanks for the guide
Congrats! It’s still a hard fight. Footage was from one of my best libraries. Really wish I hadn’t lost footage of my previous attempt. That was a bit more rough with some twists
Fantastic guide!
Thanks now I actually know what I'm doing
Awesome guide bro, thanks :)
Best Sunken Library Guide! Great Job!
Thanks man! Means a lot
